What in God’s name were the makers thinking while using this song for Aditya and Imlie. It is not even a question anymore, they have given up. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Seriously, they did not give in to the demands for 150 episodes why do it now... Its not like TRP is down or something.... Just do what you were doing.... if they could show such a beautiful relationship development, they could just follow the same pattern going forward...... Now because I am binge-watching the episodes, I feel we are stuck at the same point where we were like a month or two back....they just keep going in circles... one step front, two steps back. and back to square one.... Imlie is still where she was when she left PD, Mand we have had truth reveal, SK-ADI confrontation, Malini "Durgama" avatar, Dev heart-attack, Aparna flip-flops...... but we are still at the same point....😆..... I should just go back to watchin it like I do my other ITV shows with popcorn and no expectations. 😊

On the side note, dont you think that more that Malini and Aditya, who have just forgotten about the relationship, other people on the show are more affected by this "7 year" long, one in the lifetime relationship that they shared..... like Aparna and Imlie. 😛

I just went and saw the song after reading your messages ... Seriously, I did not need that knowledge at all... 😡...... Why would they use such a song, the words do not even suit their current status of their relationship....nothing is "abhi-abhi" now😆....."abhi abhi" was in PD which seems like ages ago..😆...

Frankly, I feel Atif was getting bored and missing his fandom praises....so he was just decided to create this scene but "makhi" beech mein aa gayi.😆🤣🤣

Managed to make a batch of gifs on the few decent visuals in the dance bit😆

Once you re-edit the song in your head, you can manage to get to their expressions somewhat😆

While making the gifs, I realized that Imlie treated this whole dance bit also as some kind of "gift" that Adi gave her😆....that's why she was smiling at him as she extracted herself and then tried to leave😆....like she was silently thanking him for showing this much affection to her😆.

Until she keeps treating any affection he gives her as some kind of fleeting miracle, I doubt anything will really change overall😆.....Imlie can do itraaoing (like she did with sajaaoing herself before this dance😆), she can do nautanki, she can do sacrifice.....the one thing she cannot seem to do is sambhaalo her own haq😆.....jahaan haq hota hai, wahaan you don't act like you're grateful for someone's affection.....it is your right to have that affection. Khud toh kya OVERLOAD karke affection barsaati hai Adi pe😆.....but if he shows any from his side, oh it's an ehsaan, a gift😆......

I think most of our disappointment stems from the fact that we have seen them do crucial transitions so well before.....the best example ofcourse being the hut scene which was such a sensitive transition to do vis a vis Adi realizing his feelings and then wanting to express them through that tenderly heartbreaking hug..... and they did it so beautifully that it started to make us have faith in them managing to navigate the organic path this relationship will take through every stage.

I remember vaguely some of us discussing what an interesting path the makers chose by building Adi's attraction towards Imlie through the path of their emotional connection.....that is why it felt all the more intense than a typical story where attraction comes first with typical eyelocks, trip-catch scenes etc....but Adi-Imlie were built on a different route and we started to hope that the route would continue on its potential despite the messy portions ahead vis a vis managing the Malini side of things.

Yeh nahin socha tha ki woh transition would one day bring us to dhuaan romance😆.....where the director seems to have imagined a whole other level of "symbolism" in his head regarding the dhuaan but didn't bother weaving it into the actual current plot point dhang se😆......artistic imagination soch li about Imlie ki reflection kis surface mein dikhaani hai, dhuaan kaise udaana hai, naya soundtrack kahaan insert karna hai to test it out😆....but yeh bhool gaye ki story mein yeh point dhang se transition kiya hi nahin hai😆.

They are now treating Adi-Imlie scenes with some kind of strange pressure of "romance kaise dikhaayein" rather than letting it flow organically - which is when they are at their best. Yeh jo pressure le rahe hain about what degree of physical closeness to show and how to show it.....that's what's making it all look gimmicky. If they just let these two flow along their natural interactions, the scenes would have come out more convincingly rather than needing to make grand props out of their emotions😆.

The hut wala hug scene is effective to this date not cuz of the beautiful visual of the blue window with rain falling outside😆....but because of that moment of taal mel where both of them were hesitatingly reaching out to hold each other before Adi pulls her into the hug and you feel the sukoon settling in on both of them.

I get that Adi-Imlie are being shown at a "different" stage of their relationship now.....lol but as you said, it doesn't really feel like it.....feels more like a rut of sorts where they are just going around in circles rather than us getting the feel of them advancing to a deeper stage of emotion in their relationship.....token physical closeness will ultimately feel meaningless if you don't manage the emotional closeness in tandem.

As for AM ka 7 saal ka rishta....lol but that's always been the case.....others prop it up more than these two do....especially Adi - lol for all his grand bhaashans about khubsoorat dosti, he's least bothered otherwise in really knowing or understanding Malini😆......but yeah, others keep hyping this relationship to be more than it ever actually was😆.....7 saal ke liye medal chahiye sabko lagta hai😆

Imlie ji ke liye gift iss liye hai caz imlie ji treats it like bas apna hi rishta baat wohi hai ke she can khud do everything matlab 12 pappiyan de di daant dia naaz kar lia apna samjh ke but jaise hi he starts doing the same she goes into haiyo rabba yeh kaise.. yeb toh sirf iska SM ka aashirwaad hai.. jab tak she won't treat him as an equal she won't be able to aage bhadho and while it does make sense ke iske liye sab pehli dafah hai etc but phir bhi she needs to not act like isko kabhi koi milta hi nahi shayad and babusahib is doing her koi bohat bada ehsaan matlab thoda toh jama lo apna adhikaar for all he talk of adhikaar and accept ke koi tumhe bhi iss tarah toot ke pyaar kar sakta hai caz tum kaabil ho.. an toh he has told her why and how's of it in such detail too and he takes so much pride in her

I watched the tree climbing episode today when Imilie gets honey from the bee hive just so that Aparna wants to make fresh sweets.. if she can do that, she should be able to stand up for them in this whole police drama.
