Yeah true... Earlier I used to give him benefit of doubt for supporting his 'dil k acche gharwalas' and pakhi...coz he didn't know his bff intention...plus he was not sure about his feelings for sai... But now , after knowing what his gharwalas did with devi tai..and after knowing intention of his bff....he is still supporting them.... And right now he knows that he is in love with sai...but still he publicly humiliate her by agreeing kaku that she kicked him out from his room, she doesn't know how to live happily with family and the list goes on.... And when sai will want to leave that CN , he will again stop her... Dude if you are so fed up of her...she always stretches any matter, she doesn't know how to live happily with your family, her every conservation and action is ' behuda'...then why to stop her

My heart bleeds for her too. The verbal abuse on her has been relentless. And Virat’s stance and attitude today has been disappointing and despicable.

The only thing in his favor is that unfortunately Sai has grown to love him. The only flimsy way of explaining his behavior is that this sort of behavior in his family- of the evil Trio ruling over everyone else is something he is used to- this is probably the norm for him. After years of not speaking up or against them, this change may not come soon.

Not trying to justify his actions just trying to understand so that we can imagine - he is in some way a fit enough person for Sai. So am giving him a small bit of allowance assuming that he is still reeling and wrapping his head around everything that’s wrong (criminally wrong) with his family, after he sees through Sai’s eyes and realizes how wrong they are. Plus the extremely difficult situation with Pakhi and literally having to swat her hands away now🤢 and also frustration with not being able to express to Sai what she means to him and Sai not seeing how much he cares for her .

So assuming he is trying to grapple with multiple things and failing miserably. He is in a situation where he is trapped and has no control. So like all people in a position of weakness he is trying to control the only thing he thinks he can control- his wife 🙄

Years of bad habits are hard to break and I hope we will see some sort of growth in his character moving forward. And evolution hopefully of how Sai has helped him change. When Sai went away - the way he had behaved with his family and Pakhi gave me some hope. But now it seems like for every 2 steps he moved forward, he has taken 4 back. Hopefully in coming episodes he will inch forward.

Today’s episode was the worst. How can Virat leave her hanging like that. She must leave and never, ever turn back.

I doubt if Virat is a protoganist anymore

1. His Character

He was good in GC, remember the felicitation speech in Sai’s school, he says Vidya dadati vinayam, sahib should know the next line too, Vinayath yaati pathratam. Where is his character? He says he is usulon wala insaan? But whose rule books? Is it Kaku or KBA ‘s now a days? He says he has done stuff for Sai, stood by her. Remember incident 1. Sending her to college – was it for her or satisfying his promise. 2. Supporting her during bua incident – was that for her or his Bua. 3. Supporting her during food incident – Any man with a limited conscience would not allow such appalling behavior, let alone a police officer. 4.Mohit incident – He supported his brother there. He was compelling only during the Mahasivaratri day. How can a police officer that too who claims to be honest, be Ok with the unethical behavior of his own family, be it devkit incident or Harinee wala incident?

2. About his claims of Sai’s Galat famiyaan –

Has he ever done anything to resolve them so far, or even bore semblance to show his and KBA’s relationship is nothing but friendship? He has done many things to prove otherwise. 1. Him explaining the lipstick stain. 2. Pining over Pakhi, when she went to her mother’s place (saying tuje meri pya – dosthi nahin samaj ayega). 3. KBA asking in front of Sai – Virat what did you get from this marriage?? He stood silent. God that kid still in the room - Leave concern, love, etc where is his common courtesy. 4. Valentines Day rose incident was the worst. 5. No need to mention the Ladakh incident. I accept that Sai is sometimes tenacious and many times may seem to be immature, but we call them teen agers for a reason! How mature are Virat and Pakhi for that matter.

3. Pakhi and Virat being “Best friends”

I do understand fatal attraction and falling in love at first sight. It took 3 days for him to fall in love, which is acceptable. You cannot forge a friendship worth describing as “Best friends” in 3 days. Fine, that is up to him. As a friend as he ever tried telling her when she Is wrong? Tried correcting her? When your best friend’s husband goes missing – you cheer her by suggesting some hobbies, even supporting her get engaged in her career. You don’t take her on a trip alone to entertain. If his aayi and Sai did not mention, he would never even think he had a wife.Finally telling KBA he loves Sai – He says with preface “Shayad” – does he mean to leave a glimmer of hope for KBA that he is still ambivalent. Either you love somebody or you don’t. The poor guy needs Sunny to tell him every time he is in love with someone and ye chale bachon ko pyar ke bare mein sikaane ke liye.

Parts that show his strength of character was calling her KBA and recently fending off KBA’s recent advances and the little things he does for Sai, caring for her etc

Finally, when the writers have assassinated this character so much. Let Sai walk out, fulfill her dreams and fall in love with a successful doctor who is a doppelganger / long lost twin of Virat. I would hate to miss Ayesha and Niel’s chemistry. At the other end they can have Virat and Pakhi married, Samrat return with his new found love. Why 4 people should live miserably when 6 can live ecstatic😊
