First I am really upset with Virat after watching episode and seeing people's comments. I was restless seeing him like that. I always have a feeling that whatever he does there is some reason for his doing so even though that is wrong. So I have re-watched and tried to understand him and episode for my own sanity.
Here is my take on today's episode. This is especially for the people who don't want to hate Virat and angry or upset with him but doesn't want to. This us purely my POV. I always support SaiRat and not Sai or Virat alone. I always tried to understand why charectors are reacting that way. No bashing of any charector. Both Sai and Virat charectors are flawed. Many times situations make them react in that way which is they should not have done but still they do because of their flaws.
Virat is always conditioned to act in a certain way and will not go beyond his comfort zone unless pushed to extreme.
Today the wounded wife who is speaking not "the Sai joshi". She is already feeling bad seeing Virat and pakhi together which is could not understand why. Upon that she felt bad for Virat for sleeping on couch for which now she is facing blame. Pakhi knowing this which she even doesn't know is nail in the coffin.
Today when virat came down and got to know that Sai is being blamed for something which is their personal matter, he was about to retort. Before he could retort, she spoke something for which he got angry. He doesn’t like his name associated with pakhi in any way now-a-days. He gets angry when someone mentions it. That's what happened. We know why Sai spoke that way. She is pushed to speak that way. As usual Virat doesn't know to what extent Sai is being pushed to speak all those. He came in the middle of conversation.
This outburst would have been avoided if they would have continued their talking last night. But that did not happen. He got angry because she asked why he is breaking his promise to pakhi. For him that promise is stupid and has no value at all but sai doesn't know that. For him this is useless and stupid question. He never tried to understand her POV and always wants her to understand him. He is the one who tells let's have a talk but when the actual talk comes he did not speak. And he could not digest Samrat thing because of which he left room in anger and their talk left in middle. In the morning she left when he wanted to talk. And talk left unspoken.
Now he got angry even though he didn't show like all other times. In his anger, he spoke the things which would hurt her and add more fuel to her burning soul. Then she spoke hearing his words and making him more angry and everything went down the hill. Usually he says he thinks before he speaks but when it comes to Sai, he doesn't even know what he is speaking when he is angry or doesn't see whether he is hurting her. This is their regular pattern. Sai we know, she speaks what comes to her mind when she is pushed to limits.
Again, kaku started instigation by telling how Sai has shame and how she is insulting him and has no parvah for his respect in public. Then even Ninad and Omkar spoke vile things about her. But he did not fall for their words (growth in his charector) and about to give back but again Sai did not give him chance. Then sonali asked why Virat speaking to pakhi is affecting her as for her this marriage is deal. He looked expectantly at her for answer. Form here he was busy in trying to understand what is running in her mind and did not concentrate much on other things. He did not like pakhi and kaku talking to her in such way and immediately Sai gave back to them.
Now when Sai declared that she is not going college and end things once for all, Pakhi had a clue where things may go. So she insulted Sai by calling her nurse and paying for taking care of him. At this point he is trying to understand her feelings for him and eagerly waiting for her answer. Here Sai expectantly waited for him to answer on her behalf which he didn't. Here he failed her by being immersed in eagerness to know about her feelings for him. When she told that she cares for him from the heart, his happiness has no limit. Every time he who tells that he cares for her. She always shows her care and concern by her actions. But never explicitly said this thing. He knows she cares for him and listening that thing from her mouth soothened his heart. But atleast after Sai completed he would have told something in support of her. Actually Sai explicitly telling that she cares from him is very big thing. During hospital scenes and after that she always told that she came look after him. (Not much sure about last line if she has used parvah word for him before)
Pakhi failed in her attempt to insult Sai. Pakhi always claims in public and repeats always to Virat that Sai doesn't care for Virat. She could not take how Sai explicitly claiming her care and concern for Virat. She could not take how Sai told which she will never understand her concern. She failed miserably.
She could not take insult and tried to escape form there but Sai did not allow her to leave. And Sai brought back the topic. Here he is in carefully listening mode. She is speaking out what he is trying to get from her. That's why he hold her to continue. When she brought his and Pakhi's name together he is like why she is again speaking of that stupid promise which he even doesn't care about. But what he is not understanding or has understood how this vaada is affecting her and how much hurt she is with that. Even if he understood, he could not explicitly agree that he promised to Pakhi in front of all. In think seeing her pain he agreed (precap). He understood that she is letting everything out which she never did before which is very important for both. He is carefully listening to her. He felt bad when she told how pakhi puts her down infront of everyone.
He is angry when when ninad started insulting her. He stopped everyone and told her to continue and let out everything. But the choice of his words are bad which and also instigated her further. He is upset more than angry when she misunderstood him regarding that couch issue. He is like why you never understand me and always misunderstand me. Remaining scene is incomplete. I will comment that tommorow after watching episode.
