I too feel that what happened that day was V testing A. Just like he always does. He knew that A met some guy and her cloths were not intact. So just tested her, how far she will go.
I don't know why he wanted to hurt her with the knife.. Later he punished himself for that😕

Veer is a very complicated character. The man has a heart for sure, but because of everything he’s been through in his life with people abandoning him, blaming him and all that has turned him into a very self-brooding, angry, depressed/dark kinda of a person. He tries to be good but his past issues bring out the darkness. Amrit can/is the only one who can bring Veer out of his down darkness...she’s his light
