There are pretty interesting ways of handling this amnesia track. But unfortunately, it just works in one fixed way in ITV which also lacks how it usually in reality.

I sometimes wonder, how did Ahaan fall for Ishqi?

Rhea is pretty much everything he wanted but still, he seems to have zero interest or attachment towards her.

With Ishqi, Even before knowing about her family and all he seemed quite obsessed with her

So did he always have a thing for strong and independent women who speak for themselves and was just fooling himself that he agrees with daadi? Or what was it that made him interested in her?

Or this kinda thing just happens in itv🤣

I am super fine with Ishqi getting hurt by the rod and being in the hospital for a couple of days so we all can see Ahaan taking care of her and etc.

But the amnesia tack is a big fat no for me. The yaadasht bhul gayi 2 saal ka track is literally so overdone now. It would be a slap to the buildup they have done until now.

A track as such when a show doesn't have anything left at all to show (though I'd still want the show to end then) but alright. But for a show which has such major potential without needing to have such absolute cliched plots that is something I do not look forward to at all.

I do not even remember the last time I watched a show and this track came up because I highly forbid myself from watching shows which have such ridiculous plots.

Agar Ahaan ko Ishqi ke jail jaane ke baad, be-ghar hone ke baad, jobless hone ke baad and cherry on the cake "memory loss" hone ke baad realization hota hai. Fir toh rehne hi do, matt hi karo pyar.

But, memory loss can happen in cases of emotional trauma also. I remember reading about dissociative amnesia while researching for one of my characters. In dissociative amnesia, one still has the memories but cannot recollect them. It's like they are deep within them but if triggered, they can reappear.

The whole amnesia thing is so intriguing.😆

I researched too on dissociative amnesia cuz I was reading a book in which one of the characters has it. Don't patients usually feel a connect to the object or person, but are unable to recollect hence amnesia ?
