If Navera marries Dawar for some contrived reason and then in the end has to choose between Essa and Dawar or only ends up with Essa after being married to Dawar and Essa married to Rida, idk how to feel about that.

I just want EssaVera only. There are ways of showing interesting things in drama aside from marital problems. The drama doesn’t have to end just because EssaVera happens. But alas, it looks like EssaVera, if it happens, only happens after going through the obstacles of EssaRida and DaVera.

My guess is Rida’s surgery will be successful; Essa is making peace with his decision....whether this will culminate in marriage, I don’t know...

On the other side, Davar and Maham will obviously separate..that’s where Navera comes in...

I am still waiting to watch how Essa and Navera land up as the end game...

The beauty of this entire equation is Essa and Navera know exactly where they are in each other’s lives, currently...

Also, if this is a super duper intelligent team, they have filmed the OST brilliantly, I will have to admit...Essa not featuring at all, with the entire focus being on Maham-Davar-Navera!

Moreover, the title is “Mohlat”...and the lyrics say a lot...

If this drama turns out the way I envisage it, it will be one for posterity...a new genre really in “soaps”!!

If not, it will sadly be yet another one!

Only time will tell...pun intended! :)

Anyone think that, from the promo, Maham may get ideas of how to get rid of Rida? Idk if the drama will go so far to make Maham a murderer, but she is quite determined to not let a better son-in-law come into the family.

I don't think she will murder Rida and from the teaser and promo it seems Maham will have to deal with much more pressing matters. Talat has cut off Dawar from her money. He just started practicing, he can't afford giving Maham a luxurious lifestyle just yet. He needs to get established first. I think Essa will marry Rida and take her to London with her. Maham will continue buttering Salman and her pregnancy will be revealed which she will use to soften Talat's heart. They need to keep Maham in Talat's house for more drama and face offs to keep the story moving.

Maham is so selfish, she is venting to Rida who is in a frail and vulnerable state. And it's all about her own self created "problems".

agreed. I think it’s a stretch to say Maham will go that far. I think, during my hiatus from Pakistani dramas, I got too used to seeing more western shows where everything is done for a reason. I need to get back into the Pakistani drama mindset where nothing makes sense and there are no rules lol.

I’m really not sure if Essa will end up taking Rida to England or not. For some reason, I don’t see the plot going there. Like Essa will take Rida to London and she’ll live with him but then she dies? I just see that as so useless, but again, this is a drama and I need to stop overthinking it haha

We not all pakistani shows are senseless in my opinion some of my favorite shows have been Raqeeb se , dil na umeed toh nahi, kankar and moorat. The writing and direction was superb 👌.

Well Usama is saying that Essa is a permanent character of the show and they have shot scenes in "london" as well. Let's see they may kill off Rida in the far future or something 🤔

haha. I haven’t watched those shows. I tend to mostly watch soaps because they’re more mindless and I like taking my mind off of things, but I’ve heard really good things about those dramas!

yes, Usama saying Essa is a permanent character was surprising! Especially considering the OST has zero scenes of him. I didn’t even know he was in the drama until the promo for the episode he arrived. Maybe the drama writers have something hidden up their sleeve—or an EssaVera fan can hope!

Since Rida is not fully cured, there seems to be still hope for Esa Navera. I so don't want Navera and Dawar , Maham may be selfish and bad, but still any relationship between them will be just as bad as Nisha and Asfyndar's from Jalan.

My only problem with that is then, what is the point of Essa’s character? If Navera is to end up with a man who didn’t see the real Navera and believed someone else’s lies about her, and yet doesn’t end up with the guy who saw the real her the entire time, what lesson is that sending? It’d also be one thing if Usama Khan was leaving after only a couple of weeks (meaning he comes, he weds Rida, he leaves with Rida, and cest la vie), but dude is here for the long haul! I don’t see him sticking around for so long if there isn’t more to his story than just marrying Rida.
