Shaurya is making efforts to change and that's what Anokhi wanted.

Another thing to point is that when he proposed and she jokingly pulled her hand, after that he held her hand firmly but did not put the ring. He first looked at her for her consent and only after she nodded and gave consent he put the ring on. I loved that. He wanted to do it with her full consent, which she happily gave.

Shaurya has started to support her on the basis of her capabilities. He understands that she is very talented and has previously appreciated that about her. As a professor, he knows that her talent shouldn't go waste and as her lover, he is starting to acknowledge that her dreams and ambitions are what make her ANOKHI. She would not be the same without them.

This change is a GENUINE effort by Shaurya.

Not his SYMPATHY or concern for the pain she has been through.

This is the best part about Shaurya's change. He is changing from within, without knowing about her past. Knowing about her childhood and parental abuse would strengthen his resolve, true. But this, nothing would matter to Anokhi more than knowing that her husband is making this effort just for her.

The entire proposal is Shaurya's attempt to make it up for the 'Forced Marriage' that Anokhi does not accept. It is a way to apologize and assure her that here on, her consent and opinions would be paramount to him. Now onwards, he would never force her in their relationship. Their marriage is the best thing in his eyes, but he has been told by Anokhi and Shaan that the way he executed it was wrong.

This is his journey to earn her companionship. To be her worthy companion. And that's what matters for Anokhi. Be that special person in his life. And it moves her so deeply that she finally takes a step forward to accept their marriage.

Beauty of happiness lies in sharing it. And the joy of a victory lies in having someone to pat your back. We don't need anymore evidence to prove that Shaurya is important for Anokhi. Anokhi wants Shaurya to be that one person to be proud of her. To be her backbone.

There will be times when they will feel lost and there will be time they will doubt their progress but eventually, they will always remember the efforts they have both made for each other. The faith they have in their relationship is something we all need in life. That stability. He changed his stance about her career, she changed hers about their marriage.
