Oh good point. But she first had to create a seed of hatred in Veer's mind. She had to play very cautiously. She couldn't just bribe Rani to leave and then tell Veer she did that. That would look wrong.

Also Ranisa is much more dumb than she thinks she is. Rani's dialogue about small thinking never going far holds so true for her. She never goes too far in anything she does.

And he told Ranisa he will handle her, so now Ranisa can't do anything to make Rani leave.

Small thinking in this case is 'putting money first'. I feel that Rani sa will try to stop rani from getting the money. If Rani gets hurt due to her attempts veer will know something is up.
