I think Anita could have married if she wanted to. Even now, she can realistically get married to Hardik if she and her family really pursue that relationship. However, Anita is busy in going after Gautam and she seems to be never interested in Hardik. I think going after Gautam and not deciding for herself are the reasons she's unmarried, and not due to society or anything of that sort.
And even if she remains unmarried for the rest of her life, I think that's not a problem at all. She can do so much with her life that's not related to being married. Any woman is perfectly fine by herself. She needs to get married only if she wants to. Otherwise there's no need or compulsion I'd say.
Similarly, Raavi should not be vilified if she had decided to end the relationship that day. And I don't think her fate would have turned out bad or her life would have been ruined if she chose to end a marriage. There's so much more to life other than a relationship. In reality, maybe she would have realised that. On TV, of course, they're going to be together.
And as for the society point, kuch toh log kahenge, logon ka toh kaam hi hai kehna. Even if a couple is together with children, society talks and gossips. There's no end to it.
A divorced woman facing stigma to the extent that her life is ruined and she can only live peacefully with a man is a shameful situation. I come from a metro city and thankfully it's not like that here. The Somanth they show on TV doesn't look like a small town. The city, people, clothing, etc., are all quite modern. I think divorce has now come into the mainstream picture generally in society. Nobody deserves to be ostracised just because they're divorced.
