What does it matter to her that family should know about Virat and Pakhi? She is going to leave this house and Virat seems perfectly fine

I dont think Sai didn't allow him to speak is a logical enough reason but iss show mein logic toh hai hi nahi.

This time, Sai doesn't intend to do any drama in front of family. If they follow KD, it'll be pp that will provoke her into retorting so ultimately beizzati bhi pp ki hogi n Sai will rip her apart. Although family obviously will not believe Sai 😢. But unfortunately phir seh their husband wife private matter will be openly discussed in zillat arena.
