No offense to the background song but it's been done to death on Ekta shows. I was hoping for something more original on this show, we're spoiled.

I liked the background music they played on the wedding day something related to Mahadev. When pallavi walks towards RR house.

This was her baba she was standing against who she has put on a pedestal.. This is a huge developmemt in their dynamics..

Agree, want Vijay to remain a grey character till the very end.. will give more scope of drama..I actually like how this actor is portraying Vijay Deshmukh..his scene with Sharda after he comes home from jail was really good.

Yep, Raghav was surprised, not just seeing her stand up to him but also seeing this firm side of hers. He's always seen her be soft and gentle in general, but especially with family. To see this tough woman in her was a revelation. I do feel in many ways she is mentally much stronger than he is, so when she puts her mind to doing something she doesn't back off.

That scene was so brilliantly done and executed because they were highlighting things on so many levels: the outbursts, the mudslinging with a lot of truth, the change in dynamics, people's reactions to various comments, the invisible battle lines drawn, the little observations that Ayi, Keerti, Amma, and even Raghav made about Pallavi and about their own dynamics... brilliant!

You know, surprisingly I am actually warming up to this actor playing sanki too. He seems to fit the the role of a man with a lot of anger who will actually take on Raghav Rao beyond just ranting. I mean, honestly, as long as we get such fight scenes and explosive dialogues between sasur-damaad, I'm game. I frankly love their confrontations.

I am so glad that they will address this based on the precap, the emotional distance despite the physical proximity of his family. Keerti's outburst broke him yesterday and Amma's words today did the rest. If it hadn't been for Pallavi's support and firm stance on him being right, Raghav would have had a complete breakdown. I'm sure of it.

I hope just like Pallavi is slowly finding the courage to show her family the mirror, that he will also have the courage to do so with his family. They have to stop this emotional abuse. Also, now that mother and daughter have seen first hand that Pallavi chose to stay with Raghav than go with her Baba, do they still need to use the excuse that they are living in that house to protect Pallavi from Raghav? I don't think so. Then why don't they just leave?

@bold - absolutely!! Im happy that both Raghav and Pallavi are opening their eyes to the shortcomings in their own respective families and this should be addressed. Im hoping Pallavi will make Amma see the error of her ways.. All he needs is a chance to prove hinself and some trust. If Pallavi, who has known him for a far lesser time period, can give him both..why not Amma and Keerthi?

Yes, I hope they (amma and keerthi) now know that the marriage which happened because of a blackmail has now progressed and matured into a relationship of mutual trust and respect. Noone needs protection from anyone here so if they wish they can go back to their previous lives where they were happy..

Yes, so so bad. Someone should ask the makers to scrap it. The Raghav Rao deserves a song that is worthy of him. And yes,my music sensibilities could not take it.

Actually MHRW is a girly song. The original is quite popular during wedding Sangeet and all. These SP has used many movie songs in naming their show titles. Most of the songs they have duet.

But this song can't have a male version 🙄 It suits pallavi only. They could have used some other movie song for Raghav.

Manasi will make a good villain. She has it in her to look like a typical ITV vamp. Bulging toad like eyes, sinister smile physically speaking, vamp genes genetically speaking and jealous of Pallavi psychologically speaking. I want makers to use her to create drama..

More than the weird song selection(singer was good though) it was the audio that was too loud..It was interfering with the lines Raghav was speaking..I had to strain my ears to listen to what he was saying..

I am sure the team will have received lots of feedback about this by now and will continue to do so the entire day. 😆

Sanki is now going to keep using Pallavi to hurt Raghav, I think. I know that he realized Raghav cares for Pallavi but he also believes that these two were having an affair before so separating them would give him so much satisfaction. There's another element here that sanki's behavior made me realize - taking away the wife of a powerful man like him, and watching him be unable to move a finger was a great moment of victory that sanki was aiming for. Rich and successful men with a nature like Raghav/s are very possessive (and even obsessive) about everything that is in their life, even their wives. Especially their wives. Taking his wife away is like stripping him of his status in society, especially after the public way in which their wedding was announced in the reception.

It also was a power play attempted by sanki to show Raghav that his life partner was only his in name, and the ultimate control lay with Sanki, that Pallavi would only listen to him and not to Raghav. Of course, he failed to factor in the point that Pallavi wouldn't listen to either, but to her own conscience only.

She sees the ego battle between both men and refuses to be drawn into it. Good for her! Although, Raghav's dialogues today were on point and not exaggerated. I honestly do believe that if Sanki hadn't been her Baba, he would have kicked him out of the house or given him a big thrashing. I loved the way he nodded at him to leave the house.

Things are going to be really awkward when Raghav will return to D-house. 😆

This time his own actions in the past were stopping him. He knows he has no right to stop her right now.

The powerplay, I so agree. And the control part too. How he thought Pallavi will go with him chup chaap without any question. Pallavi needs to instill in his head that she has her own mind and can take decisions on her own. She doesn't need his guidance and zindagi sawarna and all. LOL. There is a line between toxic control and rights over children/daughter in laws.. Vijay has been crossing that line repeatedly.

Raghav will return to D-house after that, uncomfortable thought. But he has to because of his promise to Saree Ka Dukan. The way things are going ek din Pallu khud hi bol degi rehne do Raghav. 😆

This episode alone should skyrocket the TRPs- an absolute winner! Had everything - drama, tension and those moments that make you sit up and cheer!! Shivangi was so good today..she had the author backed lines today but delivering them with just the right amount of emotion and expression was all her and she did a splendid job. Sai's expressions throughout the scene, those subtle shifts from rage (for Vijay), to disappointment(for Amma) and awestruck(for Pallavi) was a treat to watch.. and yup! I said the same thing about VD.. he just wants to hurt Raghav.. snatching Pallavi away from him will be the biggest punishment for him and he has realized that.. also, he was confirming his doubts about Pallavi.. now he will be like " mujhe pata tha ye Raghav ke sath shuru se thi" in his head now he feels justified in vilifying Raghav and cutting ties with Pallavi.. You know today I liked what Pallavi said to amma more than what she said to her baba.. Baba is judgemental, doesnt know Raghav and hates him- so him accusing Raghav can be understood.. But Amma?? I am so happy Pallavi questioned her opinion.. Most importantly, Pallavi's defense of Raghav didn't sound like a biased, high on emotions and low on facts defence.. It sounded like a very solid, facts based defense that no one could argue.. Raghav Rao chhupke vaar nahi karta, samne se vaar karta hai.. and then proudly brags about his accomplishment.. That.. there is the fact.

@bold, highlight of the episode for me, but overall everyone was fantastic in that scene. I want longer scenes like this more often, it really helps build the narrative.

OMG Ashu 😛

I felt the singer was OK OK

But his voice didn't suit the kind of sentiments the lyrics were describing.

And the voice didn't suit Raghav's own voice and personality at all. It felt very old.

Contrast it with the female version, there the voice is so melodious and perfectly resonates with Pallavi.
