Milind genuinely cares for Pallavi and wants her to come back home because he knows she was treated unjustly. He doesn't know whats brewing between Raghav and Pallavi, how things have started to change, their feelings for each other etc.. so 1.) He doesn't know what Pallavi wants 2.) He doesnt care what Raghav wants because he barely knows the guy..only that he is the cause of all the problems his family is facing.. Also, he is confused about the letter so is going with what his dada is saying because he himself doesnt know what to believe in this case... I think that explains his somewhat confused expression today.

I absolutely agree but I think in addition to this the flashback also intended to portray Pallavi’s feelings as in bina uski marzi ke kisi baharwale ke kehne pe she was ousted in the middle of the night where as now when he is taking her back again he is dragging her back without any regards to what she wants. If he really truly wanted her home because VD loves her then woh uski marzi puchhta. I think she also felt ki jab marzi ho mann ho nikal diya and jab marzi ho wapas le jaane keliye khich liya that too without apologising for his previous actions and uski life mein usko koi say hi nhi diya.

Yes agree that could be an added reason too. If he really wanted to save her from the "rakshas Raghav" then he was a rakshas even before committing the alleged crime of conspiring to put Vijay in jail...then why wait for Raghav to act against him to save her? Pehle bhi to bacha sakta tha.. I think more than the anger or hurt, its the faith that she has lost in Vijay's sense of judgement.. he is gullible and can be easily manipulated.. loses his sense of reasoning because of prejudice.
