this is complete off topic here... but since Humsafar was mentioned ... my friend's Aunt read the actual novel and I remember she told us that Ashar was not supposed to be good looking lol ... he was actually much older (ageing) and kind of average looking. And Khirad was supposed to be much younger and pretty (which was shown) - but that he was always insecure that someone so beautiful inside-out loved him back. His mother was as per the novel a loud woman - who had this facade of being NGO running abla nari but her real side was of Sarla ... though i preferred how it was shown on the drama with regards to her. lol.

I completely agree... this is basically taking a page out of Humsafar when she really lays into him on how he left her alone in a condition like no other and without hearing her side - how can he expect her to reciprocate any feelings for him. Even at end, it was bittersweet, she was a different person - she was not the same girl Ashar had fallen for. And the only reason she decided to give it another chance was for her daughter's sake. You r right . Khirad’s lines were so beautifully written . She said she can’t really be the old Khirad who used to ‘ nyochaawar’ herself before him .She lost her innocence long before bcause of life’s struggles . All tat left is bruises .Ya she came back to Asher bcause of their daughter only

Ahaan is just a robot. A robot programmed by Dadi. For the robot , Dadi is it's Creator and master. Can't go beyond sequences of codes is fed into him. The programmer had written the codes so poorly that bugs developed in it. And it ultimately died of software failure.

Sorry for rambling. I would never support someone manhandling or being physically abusive to anyone. But the fact is words are enough to make a villan out of hero. Manipulation is lethal .

Growing up with someone having BPD and looking at Ahaan's erratic behavior was disturbing for me. He needs a psychiatrist if he was real.

One one side Mayank , other side Daadi and then Kartik and Ishqi. He has been mentally violated by all of them . Daadi's constant manipulation. Ishqi's silence. Mayank's drama. Karthik's constant Ishqi chant.

I know it's just a fiction show. Writers won't go into depth of mental health issues in a romantic drama comedy show. But I felt numbness seeing Ahaan and his erratic behaviors today.

Don't know should I feel sorry for the person and cry for him??!?! Or hate him.

I think the main problem with him is he can’t think for himself. He’s easily influenced. Daadi ne kahan toh police bula li, Kartik ne kahan toh bail karadi, chaachi ne bola toh message karke ek mauka de diya..

i think TVs are also the reason for such high unrealistic expectation for women, matlab bhai beewi nahi balidaan ki murti bana rakha h. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ cant just they show normal issues, or decently show serious issues without the drama st people actually learn the right things from them and not the wrong things

like TVs are more difficult than movies. if they actually put the right foot ahead with the right zeal and not just creating faltu ka drama , they can actually create an impact but

Gul’s ML are chauvinistic. They are so much of attitude as if they are giving some alms by loving someone . I think Maan of Geet was different. It was her show only . But tat guy was really good and stood with her thru thick and thin
