Cheating not a possibility since it was a forced marriage when Vikram pointed it out he was so scared . He is hurt that Rani could never tell him the truth. Remember the occasions when she wanted to say something and she could never tell. Veer can always presume about love for Birju. Plus her talk with Birju. They said secret buried forever so Veer is likely to think she wants to keep the marriage vows and told Birju not to do such things again and Veer should never know. Birju also said Veer not like his mother so Veer is not likely to think what Ranisa planted on me. Plus Rani said he likes to go to the bottom of the truth. Hence a theory .
