Fateh's character

At first, I liked Fateh very much. In fact, he was the only one in the trio that I liked. But, after seeing the revelation episode and events leading up to it, I am beginning to reconsider Fateh's actions in new light and he comes off as a very devious character.

It was 100% his responsibility to tell Jasmine to her face, not mincing words, that he lost the job in Canada. It was his responsibility to say it to her face and then discuss how to move forward.There is zero excuse for him not telling her. It is possible that he hoped to trap her. By finding out after marriage that he lost the job, all her options would be bad. Stay with a deceptive man or give up on her dreams. All of this is because Fateh was selfish and could only see one thing: getting Jasmine, under any circumstance. Not exactly hero material.

He is the only liar here. He ingratiated himself into Jasmine's life, spinning tales of how he will fulfill her dreams because he selfishly wanted her. Then when he knew if he lost his job, he would lose her, he decided to tell everyone about it: except her. Why? His motives are the definition of selfish. If he was actually a decent guy who truly loved her, he would have told her or he would have dumped her. THAT would have been his sacrifice. You see, if he was trustworthy or his word, or love, meant something, he would have said: I know your dream is to go to Canada. I can't do that for you. I am letting you go, out of love, so you can have your dream. THAT is love.

In many ways, his actions are very similar to Jas: Jas wanted Tejo's money so he lied to spinning tales; now, the same has happened to Jasmine but at least she stood up to his manipulation. I just read a woman left a man, after he married her, because he claimed to be educated but wasn't even literate. Real story. However, if these backward writers were writing that story, that woman would be a villain: how dare she have standards and feel duped when she finds out that the person she married lied to her..smh..

And of course, Fateh is worse than Jus: at least Jus jsut stole jewelry; Fateh has broken up or will break up a relationship between sisters. These sisters were each other's best friends until Fateh showed up, and ingratiated himself into their lives, because of his obsession.

In real life, actions like this would be presented in a much different light.

I assume there will be more regressive writing to come: I am assuming Jasmine will become the world's worst villain for being honest about her dream, which is her right. I am assuming she will be left broken and pathetic while Fatejo rides off into the sunset..yeah okay.

And for the record, we have no assurance that he would have gotten the second job; all he had was a job interview. Just saying.

Technically wasn’t it Jasmine’s father who hid the truth from Jasmine?

Fateh thought Jasmine’s father would have told everything to Jasmine

And later when he tries to discuss the same with Jasmine, Fateh misunderstands Jasmine’s consent

That does not make him devious.

Jasmine is definitely not a vamp and neither she is wrong in having her dreams, but all that drama was not necessary.

She could have had tried to talk it out instead with Fateh. There were so many other ways.

It was very brutal of her to just break things without giving anybody any benefit of doubt.

And as per the new promo, after doing soo much, why come back and say - Fateh mera hai?

And I think it was a major character defining moment for Jasmine

Not to portray her as a villain

But to show us what matters more to her - her dreams or her love

And it was a major eye opener for Fateh - that Jasmine does not really love him back the same way he loves her

Fateh future dekh nahi saktaa... Ke uss pata hoga shaadi ke din ye sab hoga ek se shaadi nahi hua toh dur se behen se shaadi karane padege.. Maanate hua Fateh ko direct bolana chahiye tha...darr gaya ke jasmine ko kho na de...isiliye jab dad ne safe way chuna woh maan gaya...kabhi kabhi difficulty ho life mein toh human being safe way choose karate hai.. Fateh ne be wahi kiya... Rahi baat obsession ke toh woh dono ko hai.. Fateh ko jasmine ka obsession aur jasmine ko Canada ka..dono aur tejo ke dad responsible hai..

Fatejo riding off sunset.. Really.. Jaise ke abhi shaadi hoge aur durse he din fatejo honeymoon maane Canada jaane waale hai. . 🤔

Aur rahe baat jasmine ke toh ye track uske character growth kaliye important... Uss uske actions consequences face karane padege.jaise ab Fateh be karane waala hai tejo ke shaadi ke baad... Kis kaliye be easily ride nahi hai ye.....

I dont know how you came to the conclusion that fateh is at fault, is it wrong to trust your own father?

when khushbeer said that he will handle this thing, was fateh wrong to trust him?

And lets say for a second that fateh did wrong but didnt he tell jasmine the truth at the altar before the marriage, see intentions matters the most.

Fateh never intended to hide the truth from jasmine and thats proof enough that he didnt deserve any of the crap jasmine threw at him...
