Soooo I was thinking that she will get there before romance! It was still light out. And the car broke down close to Chandigarh. Sooo when Shaurya talks to the bus driver(or maybe Kanchan), Anokhi overhears.....as the argument progresses, Shagun shows up and hears the “shaadi” part and not the “maang bhari” part. She might think he’s proposing so will (take pics) leave in a huff. She’ll go home and manipulate Devi. And ShaKhi can have romance in private!

Longterm, when Shaurya doesn’t relent to Devi pressure, Shagun can release the pics and now Shaurya and Anokhi will have to announce that they’re married!

When I first heard it, I had a reaction but like you said, context matters.

She used that word during breakup and he took it seriously and then after shaadi. This time it was said as admonishment. I think the word “mannmaani” might have worked better

Totally.. well said.. this was in admonishment.

Here in the hostel scene, she already made peace with the fact that being married to him was something that she always wanted. The context changed, and naturally her reaction and the way the word was used changed too.

No how could it be? She has to be well prepared for it, and Seminars are suppose to happen in the morning time na, also students were travelling from bus to Delhi from Chandigarh so it might take evening to reach the destination... I think seminar falls on the next day, and that's why Anokhi was furious that she missed her bus bcs of Shaurya ... She'll not be getting any time to prepare and arrange. She's the group leader

And the unexpected thing which KV was mentioning might be Shaurya resigning and giving up his career for Anokhi , since as per SIAC rules there are restrictions between student and teacher relations . Guys don’t throw slippers on me my thought 😂
