Chapter 32: Murder and Hope 

Recap: Back to Mumbai, Health check up, team traumatized, shree trying to cheer them up, ArAkshi nokh jhok.

They all finish their ice cream and drive to the crime scene in 2 SUV's. Liza had already called for an Ambulance and it was already present when they arrived.

They enter the abandoned house- a crime scene when the crime scene officer reports to them. 

"Kya hua hai yahan? Aur laash kahan hai?" Sameer questions looking at the surroundings. 

"Sir andar bedroom mein." the officer takes them to the actual scene. They see the body and gag looking away at once. The body was found in a horrible condition with the flesh of the neck eaten. 

"Oh God!" Liza exclaims in shock. This was not expected by her. But nevertheless she started examining the wound. Shree started taking pictures of the crime scene. 

Sakshi and Chotu interview the people present there. Out of which there were neighbours, labourers and few office colleagues of the victim. Sakshi and Chotu asked them about what they knew regarding this. 

Sameer on the other hand tool the needed information from the crime scene officer. After extracting all details  Sameer asked him to leave. He then went upto Liza "Kuch pata chala Liza ki kiss hathiyar se khoon kiya hai?" Sameer quizzes. 

"Nahi sir ab tak nahi. Lekin jiss bhi hathiyaar se khoon kiya hai bohot hi different hai." Liza states and then continues "Jugular veins puri tareeke se damage ho chuki hai sir. Iss ek waar se hi iss aadmi ki jaan chali gayi" 

"Jugular veins wahi na jo neck region mein hota hai aur jisske kat jaane se dimaag mein deoxygenated blood ka pressure bad jaata hai aur aadmi mar jaata hai." Sameer asks while being a bit unsure. 

Liza smiles "Waah sir! Bilkul sahi kaha aapne. Kahin aapka bhi irada mera kaam chin ne ka nahi hai na?" She asks as Arjun always works on behalf of her.

"Bhi se matlab?" Sameer asks with a smirk 

"Sir aap jaante hai mein kisske baare mein baat kar rahi hun." saying so she presses her lips and continues her work. Sameer also smiles at her statement and walks away from there allowing Liza to finish her work.

He walks upto Chotu and Sakshi who are collecting information from the people. "Haan Chotu Sakshi inhone kya bataya?"

"Sir iss aadmi (body) ka naam Naveen hai. Aur yeh ek real estate agent hai. Isski khud ki company bhi hai. Aur yeh chaaron ussike under kaam karte hai." Chotu answers pointing at 4 men standing there shocked. 

"Haan toh bataiye kya aap jaante hai ki Naveen yahaan kyun aaya tha?" Sameer asks. 

"Sir woh yeh ghar bikwane ki zimmedari Naveen sir ne li thi." answers one.

"Haan sir aur woh aaj iss ghar ki chaabi lautane waale the iss ghar ke maalik ko. Lekin pata nahi kyun yeh yahan aa gaye." says the second and looks at the other three. 

"Waise iss ghar ka maalik kon hai?" Sameer asks them.

"Sir Advocate Mahesh ke naam par hai yeh ghar." Chotu answers. 

"Hmm. Sakshi se kaho iss Mahesh ki details nikalwane ke liye." Sameer instructs Chotu as Sakshi is not around. 

But Sakshi heard the instructions "Sameer maine information nikaal li hai." Sameer looks at her impressed. 

"Haan toh Advocate Mahesh ne yeh ghar 10 saal pehle liya tha. Aur paanch saal pehle unhone iss ghar ko tata bye bye bol diya tha aur woh yeh ghar bechna bhi chahta tha lekin koi graahak mila hi nahi." Sakshi gives him the background details. 

"Hmm. Aur isske office ya ghar ka pata hai?" Sameer asks. 

"Haan Sameer." saying so she hands him the book. He takes note of it and nods his head in positive. He was about to say something when Arjun called him "Rathode yahaan aao." 

Sameer rushes to him asking Chotu and Sakshi to collect more details from the people gathered around. Ayesha comes and calls Shree and Liza. 

Arjun was waiting for them in the verandah with a piece of flesh on the ground. They all look at it in shock. "Yeh yahaan?" Shree asks. 

"Haan. Shayad maas nikaalne ke baad yahin giraake khooni chala gaya hoga." Arjun predicts. 

"Haan sir yeh ho sakta hai." Liza agrees to his statement and packs the flesh to take it to the lab. 

"Itna ghinona kaam koi kar kaise sakta hai?." Shree asks in disgust. 

"Hote hai Shree kuch sanki log aise. Inhe bas apna maqsad pura karna hota hai." Arjun states as he rushes back to the time where killing Sikandar was his only Maqsad. 

Sameer looks at him and then at Shree "Haan Shree jab log galat kaam karne ka irada rakhte hai, tab unse zyada sanki aur khatarnaak koi nahi hota." Sameer replies removing the burden from Arjun's shoulder by adding the term galat kaam. 

Arjun looks at him as he understands what Sameer was implying, and not only him everyone present there understood. Hence, Arjun just rolls his eyes and walks away. Sameer also leaves back to Chotu and Sakshi. 

Liza sends all the evidence gathered and the dead body, to the lab and also leaves with the ambulance. Sakshi gives them Naveen's address as given by his colleague. She passes the book to SamJun and they all split their ways. 

Sameer, Arjun and Sakshi go to Naveen's home and Ayesh, Chotu and Shree head back to office. Since it's late at night when they reach Naveen's house they see all lights switched off. 

"Yeh log so gaye? Inhe pata bhi hai kya ki Naveen kahan hai?" Arjun asks curiosly. 

"Ab toh andar jaake hi dekhna padega na." Sameer states and they go inside. Seeing the door open SamJun take out their revolvers and Arjun spreads his hand to cover Sakshi behind him. Sakshi looks at it and smiles. She too walks carefully behind Arjun. 

Sameer opens the door when "boom" comes the sound of the party popper. Lights switch on immediately and the trio looks at it shockingly. The members of the house get scared and start screaming. They try explaining them that they are police officers but no one believes.

Arjun and Sameer then take out their badge and show it to them "Dekhiye humaara badge." Sameer says as he forwards it. One family member comes slowly to check and later approves. Trio heave a sigh of relief. 

They look around to see that the house is decorated with balloons and cake is also there. "Yeh sab? Kuch celebration hai kya?" Sakshi asks so that it doesn't look awkward. 

"Haan aaj Naveen ka janmdin hai aur hum ussika wait kar rahe the, ki aap aa gaye." A lady answers with slight embarrassment. Arjun Sameer and Sakshi look at each other sadly as what the family was about to know would be very shocking for them. 

By now a small girl comes and stands in front of Sameer "Aap bhi mere papa ka birthday celebrate karne ke liye aaye hai?" she asks. SamJun don't know what to answer to the little girl who is waiting for her father. 

Sakshi bends down and cupping the girls face answers "Haan" and lets out a small nervous smile. The girl also gets happy. 

But this answer doesn't go down well with a man who is present there "Nahi police aise hi kissike ghar nahi jaati. Aap log please batayiye ki baat kya hai?" 

"Ji aap kon?" Sameer asks. 

"Main Sujay, Naveen ka business partner aur yeh meri wife Aradhana." replies the man. 

"Aur main Sheetal, Naveen ki wife aur yeh meri nanand Shruti." the woman who first had conversation with them answers. "Aur yeh meri beti Nitya." Sheetal adds. 

"Ab batayiye na kya hua hai?" an impatient Sheetal questions. 

"Ji aap pehle iss bachi ko andar leke jayiye." Arjun instructs and after Nitya is taken to her room Sameer breaks the news "Woh Naveen ki laash humein mili hai." 

"Kya?" Sujay exclaims in shock and sits down as Aradhana rubs his back. 

"Bhaiya humein aise chodke nahi jaa sakte." cries Shruti inconsolably. But Sheetal stands there numb not taking any step. After hearing a lot of crying she walks to Sameer and begs to him "Please keh dijiye ki yeh jhooth hai. Naveen aise nahi mar sakta. Woh mujhe aur Nitya ko chodke nahi jaa sakta." Sameer tries to explain her the situation. Sakshi comes close to her and holds her. 

"Sheetal ji aisa hi hua hai. Sambhaliye khudko. Hum jaante hai aap ke liye kitna mushkil hoga." with these words Sakshi tries and pacifies her but she too knows that in such a situation no amount of consoling works. She just lets Sheetal cry on her shoulder. 

"Kya aap jaante hai ki yeh khoon kon kar sakta hai?" Arjun asks. Sameer adds "Haan uski koi dushmani professionally ya personally?" 

Sujay takes a moment to think but Sheetal answers real quick "Yeh uss Gauri ka kaam ho sakta hai." 

Trio look at her for further elaboration. When Sujay speaks "Haan woh Naveen ke business growth se bahut jalti thi. Woh chahti thi ki Naveen humesha uske peeche rahe. Toh shayad ussi ne maara ho." He states. 

"Shayad nahi ussine maara hai mere pati ko Sujay." Sheetal interrupts. 

"Aap kya humein Gauri ka address ya phone number de sakte hai?"Sameer asks Sujay. And Sujay gives him the phone number and address both. 

"Post mortem ke baad aap Naveen ki body le ja sakte hai." Sameer informs Sujay seeing the condition of Naveen's wife and sister.

"Iss Gauri se puch taach karne par kya pata chalega dekhte hai." Arjun states and the trio leave to their car. 

All go home as it is late in the night and they can't collect any extra information. All take their tablets and fall asleep. Sameer checks his email for the test reports of everyone and leaves a small sigh as he goes through them.

In the morning Chotu, Shree and Ayesha reach Mahesh's office. When they overhear him talking to his secretary "Usski bolti maine humesha ke liye band kar di hai. Dekha na tumne." 

"Waah Mahesh ji kya baat hai." Ayesha exclaims as she enters the cabin with Shree and Chotu.

"Dekha Shree kitna garv mahsoos kar rahe hai yeh Naveen ki jaan lekar." Ayesha sarcastically says. Shree smirks and Chotu just glares at Mahesh.

"Aap kon? Aur kiska khoon?" Mahesh asks all nervous. 

"ETF aur ussika khoon jisski baat tum kar rahe the." Chotu answers sternly.

"Woh toh main aaj ki hearing ki baat kar raha tha." Mahesh replies. His secretary too adds into his favour "Haan aaj ki hearing mein sir ne prosecutor ko chup kara diya tha. Toh wahi baat kar rahe the."

"Toh aap Naveen ko nahi jaante?" Shree asks. 

"Kon Naveen?" unable to recollect the name Mahesh asks. Chotu shows him the photo of Naveen's body.

"Yeh! Yeh toh mera ghar bikwaane wala tha. Aur yeh kal subah mere office bhi aaya tha chaabi lautane lekin baad mein usse ek call aaya aur woh nikal gaya yahan se hadbadi mein." Mahesh answers. He looks at the photo and asks "Isse hua kya hai?" 

"Isska khoon ho chuka hai." Shree replies annoyed. Ayesha looks at him confused and then turns to Mahesh "Thik hai abhi hum chalte hai. Lekin wapas zaroor aayenge." She states and the three leave from there.

"Waise Choteya Ayesha mujhe ek baat samajh mein nahi aati hai." Shree states. "Kya?" Both ask looking amused. 

"Kya log itne bewakoof hai ki woh samajh hi nahi paate ki gala kat jaane par aadmi ki maut hoti hai. Aur koi insaan ketchup gale pe laga ke toh nahi soyega." Shree answers and turns to look at them. The two smile nodding their head in disbelief. 

Sameer and Arjun along with Sakshi go to Forensic lab to know further about the body. "Kya pata chala Liza?" 

"Sir khooni ka pata chal gaya!" Liza exclaims. All look at her impressed.

"Wow Liza!!" Sakshi proudly pats her back. "Kon hai khooni?" Arjun asks without wasting any time further. 

"Khooni ek kutta hai." Liza states and everyone's jaw drops. "Kya bol rahi ho Liza. Ek kutta?" Sameer asks for clearance. 

"Haan Sir. Naveen ke body mein se mujhe ek baal mila tha. Aur woh baal ek kutte ka tha. Aur jo nishaan uske haathon mein hai woh kutte ke saath haatha-paayi mein hua hoga. Toh issiliye khooni ek kutta hi hai." Liza explains.

"Nahi Liza kutte kabhi khoon nahi kar sakte as long as use uksaya na jaaye." Sameer states. 

"Haan ho sakta hai ki uss kutte ko hathiyaar jaise use kiya gaya ho." Sakshi says. "Haan Sakshi aise hi hua hai." Arjun replies "aur Naveen ka khoon karne ke liye uss kutte ko zaroor train kiya gaya hoga." He adds. 

"Liza aur kuch pata chal sakta hai kya?" Sameer asks. 

"Haan sir lekin aapko mujhe thoda time dena padega." Liza answers with slight nervousness. "Sure" Sameer replies with a smile and all the three leave from the lab. Sakshi smiles and waves her hand before leaving. Liza too reciprocates in the same way. 

"Chalo Liza kaam pe lag jaao. Baad mein Arjun sir ke gusse se Rathode sir bhi tujhe bacha nahi paayenge." she talks to herself with a smile and continues with her work.

Sameer Arjun Sakshi and Ayesha go to Gauri's home. They ring the bell and Gauri opens the door surprised looking at them. "Ji aap log?" she questions. 

They lead their way inside and Sameer answers her "Ji Gauri ji. Hum ETF se." Gauri gets shocked. 

"Aap log yahaan kyun?" she asks. 

"Yeh jaan ne ke liye ki Naveen ka khoon karne ki koi khaas wajah?" Arjun asks. 

"Kya Naveen ka khoon ho gaya?" Gauri asks in total shock and disbelief "Kaise?" She asks unable to control her tears.

"Yeh toh humein aap se puchna chahiye Gauri ji." Sakshi replies. 

"Kya? Aapko kya lagta hai maine Naveen ko mara hai?" She asks baffled at the reply. 

"Haan. Aap unki tarrakki se jalti thi aur issiliye competition mein akele bhagne ke liye aapne uska khoon kar diya." Sameer replies sternly. 

"Nahi main usse kyun maarungi hum toh bahut jald shaadi karne waale the." She replies crying inconsolably. All look at her shocked and confused "Haan humaare affair ke baare mein kissi ko na pata chale issiliye usne jhoot kaha ki hum competitors hai. Woh jald hi Sheetal ko chodke mujhse shaadi karne wala tha."

All look at her emphatically. They could see that her tears were real but that wouldn't exempt her from suspect list. "Aap sheher chodke nahi jaayengi." Sameer orders and she nods her head in positive still crying. 

As soon as they come out Arjun asks Shree to take out call records of Naveen and trace his location too. 

"Shree call records nikaale?" Arjun asks sternly as he enters. Rathode just raises his eyebrows and looks at Shree 

"Haan sir. Naveen ne last baat 2:00 baje ki. Kissi Malad ke local PCO se call aaya tha. Usske baad Sheetal aur Gauri ne bohot baar phone kiya lekin usne uthaya nahi. Shayad usske baad hi usski maut ho gayi." Shree states. 

"Haan sir Liza ne bhi toh bataya tha ki Naveen ki maut 12:00 se 3:00 baje ke beech hui hai." Ayesha says and Shree looks at her scrunching his eyebrows. Ayesha widens her eyes asking him to stop being annoyed. Shree pouts cutely whereas Ayesha smiles. 

"Hmmm. Toh uss local PCO ke maalik se puch-taach karte hai. Shayad kuch pata chale." Sameer says. 

Arjun drives to the location with Chotu and Sakshi. As soon as they reach they see a man running away and Chotu goes behind him to catch him "Kya? Bhaaga kyun?" Chotu asks catching him by his collar. 

"Woh maine yeh khaane ka saamaan chori kar liya apne parivaar ke liye. Do din se bhukhe hai mere bache. Kuch khaane ke liye mil jaata toh acha hota." the man replies as he sobs. 

"Kaam kyun nahi karte phir?" Arjun asks removing his goggles. "Saahab koi kaam deta hu nahi hai." Saying so the man states his destiny. 

Chotu looks at him and gives him money from his wallet. Arjun and Sakshi look at him surprised "Kuch dino ke khaane ka intezaam ho jaayega iss se. Theek hai. Chori mat karna kabhi." Chotu says. Arjun forwards a visiting card "Iss number par call karo aur kaam ke liye arzi de do. Mil jaayega. Aur aage se kabhi chori mat karna." Arjun warns. 

"Ji shukriya." he thanks them and leaves. Sakshi looks proudly at both the men of ETF. Arjun looks at her staring at him "Kya?" he asks. 

"Kuch nahi. Maalik se puch taach karte hai." Sakshi answers and all leave to the shop. 

"Aapko pata nahi chala ki koi chori karke bhaga hai yahan se." Arjun asks. 

"Haan aawaaz toh sunai di thi." the blind man replies. Arjun understands the situation "Sorry kaka maaf kar dena." He says. 

"Koi baat nahi." Kaka replies with a smile. 

"Kaka hum ETF se hai. Humein aapse puchna tha ki kya kal dopahar ko do baje ke aas paas koi aaya tha yahaan call karne." Chotu asks.

He tries to remember "Haan beta ek aadmi aaya toh tha aur woh ghar dekhne ki baat bhi kar raha tha." Kaka replies. 

"Kya aap usski aawaaz pehchaan sakte hai?" Sakshi asks. 

"Nahi beta woh main nahi kar sakta. Lekin haan uss se jaanwaron ki badbu aa rahi thi. Shayad koi kutta tha uske saath. Bhonkne ki aawaaz bhi suni maine." Kaka replies. 

"Ji shukriya kaka." The three greet him and leave. "Kutte ki smell? Aur Liza ne bhi bataya tha ki kutte ko hathiyaar jaise istemaal kiya tha." Arjun tries to connect the dots. When his eyes fall on a board telling Dog Training Center. 

"Yes!" He exclaims. "Zaroor iss training center mein hi uss kutte ki train kiya tha khoon karne ke liye." Sakshi and Chotu look at him in shock. Chotu has terror in his eyes and Sakshi looks at him. She tries comforting him by rubbing his hand. 

"Humein andar chalna chahiye." Arjun instructs. 

"Sir main yahaan baahar hi rukta hun. Andar nahi aaunga." Chotu states. Arjun looks at him confused and then looks at Sakshi who eyes him to let it be. Arjun also agrees and both he and Sakshi go inside. 

"Suniye!" Arjun calls one of the instructor. "Ji kahiye." he replies.

"Humein jaan na tha ki aap kutton ko train kaise karte hai khoon karne ke liye." Arjun sarcastically asks. 

"Kya? Kya Bhakwaas kar rahe aap log. Aisa koi kaam nahi hota hai yahaan." he replies. Other instructors hear this and come upto them.

"Kya hua?" one of them asks.

"Yeh log Bhakwaas kar rahe hai ki hum kutton ko khoon karne ki training dete hai." the first instructor replies. 

"Yeh kya bol rahe hai aap. Aisa kuch nahi hota yahan." one among them reply. 

"Toh kya hum bhakwaas kar rahe hai? Hum ETF se hai aur humein ek Laash mili hai." Arjun talks in loud voice, sternly. 

"Aur Forensic reports ke hisaab se kutte ne hi khoon kiya hai." Sakshi replies. 

"Kya koi gayab hai yahan se?" she continues to ask. 

"Haan kal se Pradeep nahi aaya hai. Call kiya lekin utha bhi nahi raha. Ek kutta toh ussike paas hai." Replies the head instructor. 

"Theek hai. Iss Pradeep ka address dijiye humein." Arjun orders and Sakshi takes down the address in her diary. 

While heading out "Sakshi, Chotu ko kya hua hai? Woh andar kyun nahi aaya?" Arjun asks. 

"Usse ab kutton se bohot dar lagta hai Arjun. Sikandar ke kutton ko dekhne ke baad wahaan 6 saal kaid hone ke baad usse dar lagta hai ab " Sakshi replies sadly. Arjun closes his eyes to control his emotions. 

"Ajeeb hai na Arjun, ek baar usse kutton se itna pyaar tha aur ab unhe dekhkar hi usse dar lagta hai." Sakshi says and turns to look at Arjun. He walks away to Chotu. "Chalo humein iss pate pe jaana hai." Arjun instructs and they leave. 

Sameer and Shree arrive there too as Sakshi informs them. The dog present in the house can probably attack them too. They all see that the door is open and barge in with their guns. They see dead body of Pradeep there on the ground. Liza and Ayesha are called and they reach the scene. The body has been stabbed thrice on the abdomen region. 

While searching the house, Ayesha hears a faint sound and follows it. This leads her to a dog who is sleeping there crying. Ayesha sees that and goes to him "Hey! Mat ro na." she says and pets it lovingly. 

She remembers the wild images of the dogs too but doesn't back out. And seeing the dog cry, her heart just couldn't take it. She remembered one of her pet dog whom she loved very dearly. She soon remembers that Chotu is terrified by dog. Though they were in the same place but the affect it had on him was totally different from what it was on other three. 

All had different experiences and different fear and these experiences which they had faced became nightmare for them. Ayesha calls SamJun but Chotu comes on hearing the call. Ayesha looks at him shocked and Chotu just takes steps back. Sameer and Arjun come in when they collide with Chotu. 

"Chotu kahan dekhkar chal rahe ho?" Sameer asks. 

"Kuch nahi sir woh bas." The fear doesn't allow him to complete his sentence and he leaves from there. 

Sameer sees the dog and Ayesha who is sitting next to it. Seeing Chotu leave Ayesha runs behind him. Sameer looks at this turn of events confused. Arjun knew what was the reason behind this and hence tells Sameer everything. 

Ayesha and Chotu leave for the office and the rest go later. Liza takes the evidence, dead body and the dog to the laboratory for further tests. She is also a bit nervous when taking the saliva sample of the dog but after mustering a lot of courage, she takes slow steps. Ayesha looks at her and comes and holds the dog close to herself. 

Liza looks at her astonished "Mere paas Delhi mein ek aisa hi dog tha. Shankar naam rakha tha maine uska. Bohot pyaara sa chotu sa tha jab woh meri zindagi mein aaya. Issiliye darr kam lag raha hai." she says and Liza looks at her with light smile. She comes forward and takes the saliva sample. 

This is noticed by the rest too including SamJun. They all come in when Shree asks "Tumhe dar nahi lagta Ayesha?" 

Ayesha smiles lightly "Darr lagta hai. Aaj bhi unn dino ko yaad karti hun na toh ekdum se sehem jaati hoon. Phir Shankar ka chehra mere saamne aa jata hai. Aur mera darr kam ho jata hai." saying so she looks at Chotu. 

"Shayad tum sahi keh rahi ho Ayesha. Dekho na kitna shaant betha hai yeh." says Sakshi and sits down to pet it. 

Chotu still doesn't come close to the dog nor does he look at it. Liza meanwhile tests the sample and confirms that the saliva on the wound of Naveen matches to the Dog's saliva sample. 

"Very Good Liza!" Sameer appreciates. 

"thank you sir." Liza smiles.

"Pradeep ki laash se kya pata chala hai Liza?" Arjun asks coldly. 

"Sir usski maut chaaku se teen baar maarne ki wajah se hui hai. Lekin uski maut pehle hi waar mein ho chuki thi." Liza answers. 

"Toh jissne bhi  khoon kiya hai woh nahi chahta tha ki Pradeep kissi bhi keemat pe zinda bache." Ayesha states.. 

All nod their head in affirmation. Liza further shows them a chain she collected "Sir yeh jo necklace mujhe Naveen ke kate hue maas ke saath mila bilkul waisa hi necklace Pradeep ke laash ke paas bhi tha." 

"Aur Naveen ke necklace par ek chemical lagaya gaya hai jo jaanwaron ko bhadkane mein istemal kiya jaata hai." She adds. 

"Toh Pradeep ke paas yeh chain kutte ko train karne ke liye tha. Taaki jab Naveen woh chain pehenke aaye toh yeh kutta chemical sung ke bekaboo ho jaaye aur usski jaan le." Arjun states his theory. 

"Ab bas humein yeh pata karna hai ki yeh chain kahan se khareedi gayi hai aur kissne khareedi hai." Sameer instructs.

"Sir lekin Mumbai jaise bade sheher mein hum woh dukaan kahan dhundenge?" Shree questions. 

"Guys! Main ek baat kahun." Sakshi looks at everyone when Arjun just rolls his eyes saying "Agar mana karenge toh waise bhi tum chup nahi rehne waali ho." Sakshi looks at him narrowing her eyes. But he doesn't take notice of it. 

"Bolo Sakshi kya kehna chahti ho?" Sameer intervenes in between their cold fight. 

"Haan toh do din pehle jab main fashion magazine pad rahi thi tab meri nazar issi chain par padi. Haan Shashikala Jewellery ka tha." all get relieved as if it was not for Sakshi they had to go around and ask at all the jewellery store.

"Kabhi toh tumhara faaltu ke magazine padna humaare kaam aaya." comes the taunt of Sakshi's Akdu urf Arjun Rawate. Sakshi scrunches her eyebrows at this and before the situation turns volatile Ayesha intervenes "Sir Shashikala Jewellers mein puchna padega ki yeh chain kisne khareedi thi?" 

Sameer just blinks his eyes to say Thank You and she tok reciprocates in the same way. "Toh Ayesha tum aur Rawate jaake pata lagao ki kisne khareeda tha?." 

Ayesha and Arjun leave at once. They enquire at Shashikala Jewellers and come to know that Sheetal had bought it for her husband and her. They call Sheetal to the office and interview her.

"Sheetal ji aap yeh chain pehchaanti hai?" Ayesha asks. 

"Nahi." she replies in negative. 

"Yeh aap ne hi khareeda hai." Ayesha states at which she refuses that she had gifted it to her husband. 

"Lekin aapke husband ne yahi chain pehna tha. Aap jhooth kyun bol rahi hai jabki aap ke hi naam se order place hua tha." Sakshi questions. 

"Subah office nikalne se pehle unhe chain pehnte hue nahi dekha tha maine." She states. By then Chotu comes with the CCTV footage of Shashikala Jewellers. Shree plays it according to the time when gift was collected. 

"Shree pause aur zoom in karo." Arjun instructs and Shree obeys it. Her face was completely covered. But her left hand had a flower tattoo which could be seen when she forwarded her hand to take the gift. 

Ayesha checked Sheetal's left hand but there was no tattoo which was present. This meant that she was not the culprit. Now they had to find the real culprit, but how? 

The dog comes and sits next to Chotu quietly looking at him with his beautiful eyes. Chotu sees it and flinches for once. He leaves the office at once. The dog just looks at him going but doesn't move and sits there. 

Everyone look at it lovingly. Sakshi and Liza take time to pet. All shower the dog with lots of love and treats which Shree had brought. They enjoy a lot with the ball. SamJun still think about who the culprit can be, when they see Chotu entering the office with a packet. 

"Chotu packet mein kya hai?" Sameer asks. 

"Sir woh yeh.." he shows them what he brought. They smile looking at it and assure him that he should and he can. 

He goes to the terrace and when the dog looks at him coming he sits down wagging his tail. All look in the direction the dog is looking and find Chotu standing there. All get tensed for Chotu, hence Ayesha and Shree go to him to know the matter. 

"Woh main yahaan yeh.." Chotu shows them the collar with HOPE named pendant attached to it which he brought for the dog. They smile at this gesture of Chotu. He goes to the dog taking slow steps when Sakshi and Liza also take notice of the collar band. Ayesha walks next to him slowly giving him the strength and courage to face his fear. He sits down and the dog looks at him earnestly. 

He smiles and puts the collar around it's neck. "Aaj se iska naam HOPE." Chotu announces. 

"Hope." All utter the most beautiful word and all pet it but Chotu goes away. "Mujhe thoda time chahiye hoga." he says. 

"Jitna time chahiye lelo. Hum sab khaaskar Hope tumhara intezaar karega." Liza states. 

"Ayesha Chotu kya yeh humaare saath reh sakta hai?" Sakshi asks. 

Shree and Liza too pitch in "Haan na Ayesha, Chotu pleasee. Acha lagta hai isske saath time spend karna." 

"Aur jab hum bahar honge tab?" Ayesha asks as they might go out of the city for work related things. All bow down in disappointment. 

"Yeh ruk sakta hai tum logon ke saath." Sameer says as both he and Arjun come. 

"Lekin sir jab hum.." Ayesha was about to continue when Sameer interrupts her "Ayesha.. Koi problem nahi hoga. Mera ek dost hai jo animal shelter chalata hai. Hum Hope ko wahaan safely chod sakte hai. Wahan aur bhi dogs hote hai toh tension ki koi baat nahi." Sameer makes her understand. She then nods her head in positive with a smile. 

Liza, Sakshi, Shree jump in excitement. Ayesha tries controlling them when they hug her. They turn to Sameer when Shree excitedly "Thank you Pi.." Chotu hits him hardly. "Sirr" Shree corrects himself. "Thank you sir." All express their gratitude. 

Liza and Sakshi hug Sameer. Sakshi in excitement hugs Arjun too. All get shocked. The excitement turns into fear, fear of what Arjun will say or do. Sakshi too realises and takes steps backwards "Sorry Arjun excitement mein ho gaya. I didn't mean to." 

"Ab case pe dhyaan de. Abhi tak qatil ka pata nahi chala hai." Arjun shrugs off the whole matter  and they all along with HOPE head to the office. 

"Guys kaise pakde ab? Kissine kuch socha?" Sameer asks everyone. 

"Sir kutte usually bohot samajhdaar aur wafadar hote hai. Woh kabhi kissi ko bhulte nahi hai. Toh agar isske saamne Pradeep ka murder kiya hai toh Hope qatil ko zaroor pehchanta hoga." Chotu suggests. 

All look at him as they have found a way to reach to the culprit. "Naveen ke sabhi kareebi logon ko bulao. Pata lagate hai ki qatil kon hai." Arjun states. 

"Hum itne sure kaise ho sakte hai ki kareebi logon mein se hi kissi ne khoon kiya hai." Sakshi asks for better clarity. 

"Woh issiliye Sakshi kyunki agar Naveen ko kissine chain pehnayi hai toh woh koi kareebi hi hoga. Warna koi bhi aise hi koi gift nahi pehenta." Arjun clears her doubt. 

All of them gather in ETF office. Sheetal gets annoyed by Gauri's presence and creates a ruckus. Ayesha asks her to stop and co-operate with them. Shree gets Hope inside the office. Hope immediately recognises the culprit and starts barking in front of her. 

"Waah Shruti yeh Hope toh aapko bohot ache se pehchaanta hai. Kyun?" Sameer asks. 

"Aapka kya matlab hai?" Shruti questions nervously "Main apne hi bhai ko kyun maarungi?" 

Arjun bangs the table making her flinch "Kyunki usse pata chal gaya tha ki tum property black mein bechti ho. Aur woh tumhe police ke hawaale bhi karna chahta tha. Kyun?" he questions. 

"Haan aakhir sautele bhai se umeed bhi kya kar sakti thi main?" Shruti states in guilty anger. "Lekin unhone kabhi tumse sautela vyavahar toh nahi kiya tha na?" Sheetal questions bursting out in tears. 

"Lekin saath bhi toh nahi diya tha na? Issiliye maine kutte ke zariye unka khoon kar diya jiss se main shaq ke daayre pe naa aaun." She states. 

"Lekin problem tab hui jab Pradeep ne tumhe blackmail karna start kiya aur tumne usse maar daala. Aur iss wafadar jaanwar ne tumhe khoon karte hue dekh liya. Kyun?" Sameer retorts back at her. 

"Haan." She replies.

"Aur galat kaamon mein koi bhi bhai apni behen ka saath nahi dega. Kyunki usse sab se zyada fikr hoti hai apni behen ki." Sakshi states and then glances at Sameer but it goes unnoticed by him. 

"Ayesha leke jaao isse." Arjun instructs and Ayesha does as told. The family too leaves from there. Sujay and Sheetal claim Naveen's body. 

The case is finally solved and all leave a sigh of relief. They sit and do the paperworks of the case while Hope sits outside like a good boy. Sakshi sends her article to the editor after taking approval from Arjun. After finishing the paperwork they all leave for home with the new member Hope! 

This Hope would bring light into their lives and happiness on their faces. Chotu would need time to come out, but he would surely. If he didn't want to then he wouldn't have brought a collar for Hope. They go home have dinner, feed Hope and go to sleep taking medicine. SamJun too feel relaxed thinking Hope has come as a blessing in their junior's life.
