As a viewer, I really don't want to watch a grown man put more importance for his bhabi as opposed to his wife. I know it's just day 5-6 of their marriage in real time, but watching just how much he puts Dhara above everyone else is a little sickening, especially considering Dhara doesn't appear to forgive him anytime soon. There's been a significant amount of tweets/reactions from here that absolutely hate this bhabi-devar relationship considering how toxic it has become (even Dhara-Krish hasn't become as toxic as Dhara-Shiva).
Unfortunately, I think a large part of the problem of these mixed reactions (I see your point in regards to some of the tweets) is that ShiVi moments are embedded into this toxicity. The scene typically begins horribly, and then somehow, we get a "half-baked" ShiVi scene afterwards. I say "half-baked" because the writers don't flesh out the scene as it should be. After the bathtub scene, the kachori scene, and the "Only I can be your enemy" scene, I would've thought Shiva would've been more nice and pleasant with Raavi. But he continues to manhandle her.
You could argue that Shiva only manhandled her because she spoke "badly" about Dhara yesterday or that Shiva was emotionally charged by seeing Dhara ignore her. But... how could we forget the scene where Raavi said something very, very similar the day before and Shiva just sighed and showed her the wounds on his back? Where was Shiva's urge to manhandle her then? The CVs are fluctuating everyone's character at their will as they try to understand where to take the story.
Shiva's actual reaction to the scene, considering all his character growth since the marriage, should've been to angrily leave the scene after Raavi says, "You can open up to me." It's reasonable for him to feel angered that the family dynamics are changing since his marriage, but it is not reasonable for him to make all that progress, be okay with whatever Raavi spoke about Dhara they day before, and then manhandle her.
Unfortunately, we've been fine tuned to remove all the "ugly" from the scene and only focus on the positives such as Raavi taking care of Shiva's hand. The ShiVi scenes generate the buzz the channel needs, and the CVs continue delivering these "half-baked" scenes because it caters to the audience that wants drama and it caters to the audience that wants romance.
