I think Shyam's entire perception was similar to that of what Khushi always thought a hero/rajkummar would be like. As a die-hard Salman Khan fan, Khushi got in Shyam what her Salman Khan ji would do for his heroine.

The juxtaposition of Arnav as an anti-hero next to Shyam who had all the makings of a hero is definitely reflective in the bracelet and how Shyam dresses, and speaks to people around him.
