I mentioned earlier as well that maybe one of them wanted to do it but other person wasn’t ready and now she is back to fulfill her fantasy. And they were going to get married so it’s normal for Indian couple to just wait till after marriage to make it more special.

That's what I've been trying to explain for so long! It's not that Shaurya didn't feel horny before, Shagun may have seduced him and he gave in, but might not have gone too far! And on the engagement day in the first episode, he was not very kind to Shagun... He was being his usual self and dropping sarcasm in his dialogues
