I am NOT connecting to the show anymore. It's not the same show I fell in love with.
Nothing is making sense anymore. There used to be such a warmth that used to melt my heart every day; that's not happening anymore.
Everyday, I wake Up and think this is going to get better. But, every day is a mammoth disappointment.
In everyone’s life, there are phases; when they are kids, they are different, and as we grow up, things change. People evolve and keep growing. The show seems to be stuck in the men’s childhood. They look like immature fools.
They are NOTHING without their family. They have no individual focus, dreams, aspirations. Even the family snippets don't warm my heart. Everything appears shallow.
@bold, 💯💯, just a month ago, I remember being crazy distracted by this show and this forum (probably not the best as I should have been studying). I remember refreshing the Hotstar page like crazy trying to get a glimpse of the shenanigans the characters would take part in for the day. I remember going on the forum and gushing about all the parts of the episode I loved from Yadon Ki Bharat to the small intricacies shown in the character relationships as well as the show's promising future.
Now, despite having a whole summer ahead of me, I just am not motivated to watch the show anymore. I keep hoping Dhara would change and we could put these trash episodes in the backburner and resume the awesomeness we had just a month ago. But each day is a disappointment. Star Plus and these sadistic CVs seem keen on the idea of bullying/torturing Shiva to get their TRPs. The writers seem keen on keeping the disgusting idea of having bhabi >>>> wife for these childish boys. I don't mind a little love for the bhabi that raised you, but when that love becomes so toxic that your wife can't even care/be affectionate with you, it becomes toxic AF.
What's most disappointing though, is that every character seems to be regressing somewhat. When the cast was back in Mumbai, each day was some sort of character growth. Each character taught lessons to the other. It didn't matter if you were young or old. You had a say in the house, and everyone respected you for your hardwokrk/contributions.
Now, it has unilaterally become Dhara's show. No one can argue against her, and she has clearly made a ton of enemies in being just the way she is.
