I'm always struck by the fact that Adi-Imlie have been vilified for so long because they hid the truth of their marriage from Malini but their motivations were always driven more out of concern for her....all they mainly did was tell one lie - they didn't spin fantastical stories daily about made up people and names and they were always uncomfortable with their lies....while Malini's ease with lying and concocting people and names out of thin air is quite breathtaking....she doesn't even feel a bare minimum hesitation before spinning out a new lie.....lol she hardly took a pause before giving a fake name to Mithi😆....anyways yeh toh Devi ji ke lies hain toh yeh bhi sab chadhaava hi lagenge logon ko😆

And it is not like Mithi would have not told the exact same thing had Malini told the truth. She would have given her the same amount of respect or in fact more. Mithi is half in love with Malini already even if it is stemming from guilt over what transpired. She cares for her already. Had Malini accepted she was who she was, Mithi would have done everything she could to alleviate her fears and answer her questions. But no, Malini had to take the coward’s way out by conning her. Unfortunately all this is just going to make her more Devi like later on considering “sacrifice” something something.

Aditya and Imlie will unfortunately always have to bear this cross looks like. Their own conscience will not let them be at peace. And all this for a woman who left her sasural because her husband could not tell the truth or something 🤷🏻‍♀️

Even without the song choice depicting their emotions, their expressions convey their whole story in this bit.....they actually don't even need a song as a crutch - that's how good they are.

Surrounded by a crowd of people also, their eyes manage to have a whole conversation about their love, their yearning for each other.

I love the little bit where Adi drops his gaze for a bit when Aparna turns to look at him and he smiles down at her but Imlie doesn't stop watching him the whole time with that biiig happy smile on her face.....no guilt, just pure joy and her love for him shining in her eyes.

And the little bit where Imlie quirks her eyebrows at him as if to ask him ki kya dekh rahe ho?😆....but he still doesn't stop staring at her😆....there's such contentment in his eyes while watching her like use zindagi bhar ka sukoon mil jaata hai simply in watching her😆

Adi's heart is literally in his eyes & the smile is just so poignant. Imlie on the other hand is watching him with equal joy, just basking in the glow of happiness of the fam & especially BS. So good to see her enjoying herself so freely without the burden of guilt, truth, sadness.

I don't think I have ever seen Adi so happy in the entire series. He is just looking at Imlie as if he can't believe that this precious gem of a person is a part of his life. He is so happy just seeing his entire family happy with Imlie being the reason for their happiness.

I think the song "Kaise mujhe tum mil gayi" is a better representation of Adi's regard for Imlie personally. She is the gift that kismat has given him, he can't believe that he has had the luck to receive this gift, she has filled his life with joy of life, no part is untouched by her light, she is his junoon & sukoon & of course why she did not come in his life earlier❤️.

Totally agree with all of your pov about Didi's lying habit. She lies so freely without any ounce of guilt because she feels justified that she is only lying to get to the truth. She never feels guilty about the lies. But the most surprising thing of all is that it has never been necessary for her to lie.

Adi-Imlie lied as a necessity to hide the truth so that their families do not get hurt. And they still feel guilty & responsible for all the lies & collateral damage that the lies have caused. They never lie on just a whim or just because they want to know somebody else's truth.

All of the lies that Didi has told have not been necessary at all. But still people justify her lying. Her victim card has given her the pass for all her faults for eternity I guess in their eyes.
