See, from where I am seeing right now it has to happen. Although with SAAKK, they don't generally go in circles while repeating the same mistakes of the characters again and again and since Shaurya promised that he will not say anything about the character of any other girl but you see the photograph thing can swing both ways.

Although I am really positive that this time it wont go down to character shaming but in anger Shaurya is one character who loses his sense of clarity.

Now just a possibility that engagement truth comes out and Anokhi gives up on him or this idea of marriage and rightfully so and then Shaurya continues going after her to make her realise about his intentions and how he was stuck with Devi's health (not a good reason but whatever)and then Shagun after seeing his lack of interest in her goes ahead using this final card.

OR - after the Badnaami happens and even 8f Shaurya stands up for Anokhi... ! Anokhi will still not appreciate him and she should not but when Shagun will realise the truth of this marriage she can go ahead using those pictures to give it a last try.

Now about his reaction, see it can be a small MU as well but then we all are aware that if Anokhi gets stuck at something how strong she can be with her stance ...and if Ahir comes back in the picture because of Babli which is still going on because Vineet is shootng or the Bhallas get involved and Ahir stands up for Anokhi against Shaurya ....it can easily cloud Shaurya's mind. He can mix up things.

The photographs, Ahir's proposal, and Anokhi's involvement with Ahir.

Hence, losing the sense of clarity.

He might not question her character but he can indirectly question her interest and investment and can even go ahead doing a blunder by trying to compare his engagement and Ahir's proposal if he gets to know about it.

Also, he was kidnapped and away when those photos were shot. The insecurities will surface back. For now he is too secure because of the bulshit wedding he did but later if Anokhi refuses his existence and call him out for treating her like the same woman he claimed she was (in the library episodes) she won't be wrong.

Because if you think about it ...before it was him saying things, now its him proving it.....intentionally or not doesn't matter.

It will be very illogical for SS to doubt AB and her love after seeing the pictures. He may get more possessive.

But Ahir may come and save the day. He will say I’ll marry her just to save face.

Also, see I have always found Ahir really shady. I have always believed that he is exactly the same person he claims he is not. As in Shaurya and him are nothing but opposite sides of the same coin, the difference being with Shaurya he acknowledges but with Ahir, he doesn't recognize forget working on it.

Now, I am sticking with the possibility that today when he went ahead asking Anokhi that if anyone is aware of the marriage, her family or Babli, it might get leaked to them through him but since he promised her he wont tell anyone so he might return in the picture playing the good guy again ...on his ladder of being a good friends but if you notice carefully, his steps have always been hollow.

And yeterday the shade he threw by saying...aapna haq cheenna padta hai ! It can't be just coincidence. Every scene with him and a visible shade in it can't be just coincidence.

And tbh I wont mind him grey either because I literally have wasted so much time on this dude. It would be the biggest troll for me if he remains positive throughout the show.

While discussing with Kanchan, he says she's mad at him n won't listen to him. In the car scene, he tried to break the ice so that she first calms down n then he tells her but when she gets off the car, he says kaafi gussa hai abhi, abhi me bolunga bhi toh samjhegi nai. Yesterday in the hostel scene, he told her you will mix both the things, so I will give you time to process everything. This shows he is willing to explain his entire situation to her and let her react the way she wants. He believes his situation is understandable, she will take time but she'll understand. So he wants to tell her fursat se and that's the reason he is not able to tell her, because they are not getting so much time at a stretch. He wants to be with her till she totally understands, he doesn't want to leave her in a mess. That's the reason he has warned the twins n shagun not to disclose about the engagement in college, that's the reason he hid his ring today so that there's no scope for gossip in the college n she doesn't get to know about it from someone else. She should know it only from him so that he's there to handle her if she breaks down! He is taking utmost care of her reaction I feel!

Bro I get you but what doesn't settle well with me is him saying that he will still go ahead with this crap till Devi gets fine. So he doesn't really realise how unfair it is to Anokhi or else he wouldn't be wasting his time flirting.

So for me rn, it doesn't even matter if he tells her not I am more concerned about his approach in general. The thought process is weird.

He screwed up on her birthday, still she came to him when he was injured.

She was the one who got him free from the kidnappers.

She told him she loves him a lot and despite not accepting the marriage, she wears the sindoor.

She did get intimate with him.

He can become more possessive and insecure but doubting her love would be something for which he will really work hard to gain her forgiveness.

Also, he already knows about Ahir's feelings for her. So his proposal should not be news for him.

COming to the pictures, in one of them she is just dancing with a 'friend' of hers. Did he not say that all smiles are not real/genuine smiles !

The one picture where she is in AHir's arms, she looks asleep ! That may cause trouble in paradise but that much that it makes him doubt her love !!

Even after the engagement MU, Anokhi may not doubt his love for her. But it will reinforce her fear that this man cannot take a stand for her, if push comes to shove and that is why she will suffer more. She knows he does not love Shagun and Shagun does not him.

Also, could you tell me more about how a bilateral engagement and a unilateral proposal are the same according to SS?
