Yeah it didn’t make any sense as how they are dil ke acche till today. If they were, will they insult his mom like that? Even if he wasn’t aware that his mom wasn’t allowed to continue her education, he has been witnessing her getting insulted and his Dad demeaning her every time. How can he then call these people dil ke acche?

Maybe we are getting too distracted by other things, as in , we feel we are not getting affected, but shayad somewhere off screen and all is making place😳
