completely agree on this. The scene where Sarla threatened her to say the truth & Sonu was trembling in front of her is just a teaser of what Sonu will be facing. Raj can’t be there to save her every time. I can almost see Sonu running back home soon to her Baiya & Dadi.

This was the perfect opportunity for Sonu to gather the courageand speak up. This way, she would lose atleast a fraction of "being coward" genes in her.

Sadly she has been brought up never to have a spine. She is one of those porcelain dolls for that family who is placed on a pedestal for display and she needs to remain there. If she moves she breaks the entire family.

just wrote, she is succumbed under the pressure of her family and mainly Ahaan’s feelings. She will never cross the line which her brother has set, will never do anything which might hurt him no matter how she suffers. In one way hers is a sad life. Even after having a big family, she is lonesome like Ishqi.
