Here is what I don't understand, Anokhi knows about the engagement being in works, it was announced in the worst possible way on her B'day. While a formal announcement was not made, what BM said was as good as formal announcement. If she finds out about the ring exchanges, if should not surprise her so there is no MU there. Even if Shaurya tells her about the engagement and how it means nothing to him, what does that change? He is still engaged for all intent and purposes publicly while he is doing sindoor drama in private (that has no social bearing or value )

I think the issue is her disappointment with Shaurya and his incapability to speak up and stand for her. She is bound to feel almost like his dirty secret. Today he is was manipulated into private engagement, next he is manipulated into a public announcement and then he will be manipulated into a wedding, then he will be manipulated into a honeymoon and having kids...when does the cycle break? What is Anokhi supposed to do with his true feelings and love? Shaurya is dragging her into an impossible situation.

Shaurya has to take a stand and choose - either he walks away from BM and chooses Anokhi (BM will eventually come around, she has no choice) or he chooses BM and walks away from Anokhi (He loses Anokhi permanently). He cannot have both. If he goes with the public announcement/ceremony for any reason including BM's health, I completely vote for Anokhi to walk away and never look back. I will feel sad for Shaurya but sometimes you have to make hard decisions.

I really hope he speaks up and throws a public tantrum announcing the engagement with Shagun and any possibility of it void. Nothing less than that is acceptable to me. I cannot take anymore separation or MUs and there are so many more tracks that they need to resolve like Shastha, Babli, Kidnapping/Vineet, soch etc and I want to see my screen burn with some good Shaakhi romantic scenes.

To be honest, Anokhi has often given Shaurya chance to speak... She keeps asking him... Kya baat hai... Kya Samjhane ki koshish kar rahe ho... Abhi sun rahi hoon na.. Kahiye PS...

If all these are not chances to explain himself, I don't know what exactly are those...

Problem is that Shaurya is a sorted person... We can see how clearly he can articulate his thoughts and feelings, but that's not the case when it comes to Anokhi! There he expects her to understand him, trust him - Because he said so, or just abide by what he is saying (for example, stay away from Ahir)... But that's not how it works...

Anokhi not requesting for clarification for what Shagun said... It's again Shaurya to be blamed partly.. First, there was a chance for him to discuss the reason of break up with Anokhi before angrily confessing his feelings... But he never gave her any background of the relationship infact confidently said that he was in love with Shagun... That chance was taken by Shagun... Partly Anokhi is definitely to be blamed because she actually never cared to find out reason for break up and wasn't even ready to hear it when Shagun was trying to tell her... Would have appreciated if she had said... I will find out from PS and she need not know from her... Rather than saying.. Mujhe jaan na nai hai... Woh aap dono ke beech ki baat thi... C'mon... After listening to Shagun she jumped to conclusion... That reason was absolutely not correct and unfair...

The seriousness needs talk... She has to know why Shaurya is not OK with working woman... Writers were bad with her dialogues in the past...

Kitty Bebo are back and hence chances are that they would talk about engagement thing...

Anokhi after falling in love and when she is upset with Shaurya she doesn't give him much chance to speak. And doesn't attend his calls also.This is my opinion. Of course the mistake is more on Shaurya . As you said he also doesn't explain when he has to. He should have told about Shagun to her. He did not. He did not clear her insecurities. And Anokhi after speaking with Shagun she decided to break up without clarifying with Shaurya about his soch(Maybe the script was written that way due to KVs absence).

And why has she decided to break up is it because of his soch or his family or Shagun? Atleast for one last time she has to talk to Shaurya right. Let's see. Hopefully tomorrow they should have a proper conversation. She has to clarify his soch aspect and he has to tell about his engagement. Let the shaadi happen on Monday. They need to talk.

You are absolutely right, Shaurya needs to tell Anokhi about the engagement himself. Banda kaand pe kaand kartha jaa raha hai, engagement ek se, sindhoor shadi doosre se ooper se ring pehen ke. Not sure how the cv's are going to defend him. I think anohir pics yaha kam ayenge. Banda will not give a hoot to them, and will defend Anokhi if need arises. Kuch tho browny points milenge use shayad.

But as someone said i guess the twin will do this job of bringing the engagement news to anokhi, which will pave way for another MU.
