Shaurya needs a push to think about Astha. For the last 25 years he believed what is BM said about his Astha and was just brooding in anger and never went to question Astha for her leaving him behind.
Astha is an understanding woman who didn't want to create a scene, and thought her son would be with his father and whole family who are financially well placed than her and would take care of Shaurya. It's not that she hadn't tried to contact him at all, BM did not allow any of her moves to become fruitful. We may think that she might fought for her son in the court of law, even then shaurya would have only mother, as shaan would still be with the Saberwals.
So i feel what Anokhi did is in no way wrong. She knows how he craved for his mom's love and has that built up anger inside him regarding his mom leaving him young. She wants him to get close to her know her and love her which will indirectly help him deal with his insecurities. I feel she was very selfless in putting this condition, Shaurya is the one who is going to benefited by this condition and in a way her Astha mam also who wanted to be accepted by her son.

that's why Shaan is the most disappointing character, right? he should have been the one to reveal the past to Shaurya. but nahi. all the good that came Shaurya's way because of Shaan is i think Shaurya's aversion to alcohol. apart from that, nothing, zilch.
Hey now give Shaan some credit for getting Anokhi that interview and getting her into SIAC....and Aastha prevented her from being kicked out with the TC and fees!! So really, his parents made up for their suckiest actions by bringing the most perfect person for him into his life!!
