It will be a last minute marriage situation. Either Fateh will not tell Jasmine right now and tell her at the last minute. OR he will tell her now and she will pretend it doesn't matter. Either way she will back out at the last minute and families will force Fateh and Tejo to get married.
If Jasmine steps out right now, why would Fateh marry Tejo? He will get busy looking for another Canadian job.
Hi guys, I am new to this forum. I watch the show overseas. I think I am the only one hoping for Jasmine and Fateh to work it out. I like Jasmine because her character is layered and she is flawed. She is basically a young, beautiful girl who hasn't grown up yet. I am not too drawn to Tejo because the writers make her too perfect. She is the best daughter, sister, friend, citizen. All she does is suffer quietly. She is so great.It is annoying. I think she and Fateh will be a terrible couple. She lectures and he will be bored. With Jasmine, he is alive and on his feet. Excitement is part of love. I can see I am in the minority here but I really like Jasmine and Fateh. I had seen another poster argue that she feels an Aaina vibe here, which I would hate. I don't want to see sisters fight over the same man. The writers should make one person the negative character. Perhaps somehow Tejo and Fateh will be married but he will still love Jasmine. Perhaps they should make Tejo turn negative to keep them apart?

Its not really Jasu's fault that she loves Canada so much, she is brought up in that way
But she is not in love with Fateh n Fateh thinks attraction towards her is love. There is no base to their love story. So looks like they won't be endgame
I agree with you. I don't think Jasmine loves Fateh. She is only thinking of herself. The proof of any affection and loyalty will come when she finds out Fateh won't take her to Canada. This will be her test; I think she will fail, but regret it later. I disagree about Fateh. I think, originally, his feelings were infatuation but now I see him making sacrifices, so to me, this shows something deeper than infatuation, though maybe not love? As for Tejo, she has babied Jasmine. Perhaps, if she left her to deal with her messes, she would grow up and not be so self-centered--though Jasmine is still a naive girl. You would expect her to be this way; nothing, so far, in life has crushed her. She has not had any bad experiences. It is only once this has happened that people change--for the good or bad. It is expected that Jasmine will be a self-centered, naive person, who is also not likeable at times. As for Tejo, I wish they would give her character some layers. I honestly do not like her pairing with Fateh. They are friends. If they marry, their union will not have any spark or excitement. Yes, they will get along but for Fateh, something will always be missing. Plus, why does Tejo have to get the man who undeniably loves her sister; why should she live with that? Very complicated story and I hope it is treated with some care. I hope the sisters' relationship survives. Actually, I really love Fateh's character the best.

Look, it works both the ways. Like some appreciate Fatejo, and some Jasfa. Doesn't matter. Everyone has got their personal liking.
As for the characters, I think all the three lacks something or the other in their personality. Like Jasmine is made to rant just about Canada all day, Tejo is the ever sacrificing, all goody girl, and Fateh the lover boy. All the three aren't developed beyond that. Maybe in a haste to tell the story or in the fear of a shut down by the channel.
Only when they come together and their lives takes a change is what plot all about. That's why everyone's looking forward to this marriage twist.
