Do you remember the scene where shaurya told shagun that for her happiness he asked his family to let her work as a guest lecturer because she loves teaching. Wasn't it like finding middle ground that BM wants a house wife and shagun loves teaching so its better that shagun becomes a guest lecturer so that she remains at home most of the time. Though shagun agreed to this condition but it was also finding a middle ground.

But for anokhi he has to pick sides he has to think about her because what she wants is her right as a human she wants to study earn respect and name. What BM wants is not at all right in this condition finding a middle ground would never work.

This is where Astha comes in, Astha didnt want Saberwals money for her parents same with Anokhi

This is exactly what I told you earlier his and Asthas bonding will start now he will know why Astha left and will relate it to Anokhi, so the ball is in his court, let Anokhi go and suffer like Shann or change for Anokhi

I agree. The middle ground he chose when it came to Shagun was to appease his family, his BM and also he thought he was being fair to Shagun. He wasn’t.

But one thing Wama, the whole dynamics of his relationship with Anokhi is polar opposite of that he had with Shagun. His relationship with Shagun was more or less an arrangement between two families of same class and like mindedness. There, it was about bringing a girl who will fit his family’s mold and please his BM. That relationship was not built on love ever, no matter what Shaurya thinks, he never loved her, nor did she.

But his relationship with Anokhi is based on an intense all consuming passionate love, born out of the admiration of her fierce individuality and her courage in times of adversity. Even before he came to know he loved her, he stood up for her in front of his BP and BM.

And even before he came to know she also loves him, he stood up against his BM and BP for her. For ruing her birthday and lying to him about her visit.

Now toh he knows that she loves him as much as he does. He will never try to mould her according to his family, n moreover he also understands BM’s manipulation a little now. He has a lot of respect for Anokhi.So the middle ground he means here is not the same as he meant back then.

(Anokhi right now is too blurred in the mind with the words of Shagun and Babli, that she is not trying to look beyond that vision and see that Shaurya has always supported her education, he won’t ask her to compromise on it.) All this is my opinion based on how they have showed Shaurya so far, rest is upto the writers, I am keeping my faith in them.

Also one thing me n IFLove were discussing is that, his soch does not so much stem from misogyny, as it does from his abandonment issues. Once his insecurity regarding abandonment is understood by Anokhi and it is addressed I think he will be her biggest champion, who will cheer for her achievements. He just needs to make her believe that with action, rather than words. Coz Anokhi is not someone who will be moved by words.

Also they both need to share and talk about their past and it’s baggage’s. Only then they will be able to fully understand each other’s insecurities and work things out from there.
