Ok, I wanted to ask you guys: What/who are you watching the show for?
1. The story (concept)
2. Anokhi
3. Shaurya
4. Shakhi
(This is an afterthought, looking at TT fandom and love for KV đ)
5. KV
6. Nothing else better to watch
7. Something/someone else
Mine has to be the story, I am a sop for romance and since this has a feminism concept to it, all the better! Iâm just curious to know.
I would be badly judged if I say how I landed heređ but I want to say!
I have never been a TV buff, but I have watched a few shows. I like different shows for different reasons. Like my dp shows...I loved initial yhm for its family drama, I loved naamkarann for its strong lead characters, I loved bepannaah for its concept and emotions in it n the bomb chemistry of leads n the background score, I loved khkt for the comic relief, n I watched bits n pieces of kzk2 not for anupre but for Parth Erica, I loved them off screen idk why, so I watched them on-screenđ I have watched n loved a few other shows too like ishqbaaz, mere dad ki dulhan etc, but wasnt a fangirl there. I am very tolerant about the story when it comes to ITV, I just need to feel good watching any show for whatever reason...I don't take too much stress about the story, it's just fun for me.
But in last one year or two, I didn't watch anything. All those nagins n saas bahu dramas wouldn't attract me at all and I went so away from ITV. Then ANSS happened n one of the actresses in that show is my childhood friend. She shared the promo with us n I was intrigued by the concept as well as it's background score. Still I didn't watch it thinking wahi sab faltu drama hoga. Then the lockdown happened and I had some free time. Toh I decided to give it a try, mainly because I wanted to see my friend. There were a lot of unimaginable things that a blind man could do n I couldn't digest, I still watched for some time because I loved the acting of ML. But then their wedding happened n the horror started n I stopped watching that show. Beech beech mein I would check their hashtag to see if there's any improvement in the story n I could see some saakk videos on that hashtag.
The first scene I saw was the pepper spray one. It was funny n I loved that anokhi wala song lyrics in the background...so I specifically checked saakk hashtag n saw a few more clips...the Holi episodes wale n all...n I loved the chemistry of actors. Then I just ran through the episode titles on hotstar n I couldn't make a head or tail out of it...it was full of one confronting the otherđ so I quickly read the plot on Wikipedia n seeing the popularity of the show on sns, I thought I should give it a try.
I loved anokhi's character, but honestly, I got super bored in first 20 episodes. I mean all that patriarchal torture n then her feminism lectures on it. I am all for feminism, but I would get bored watching it without anything interesting happening in the show.
Finally anokhi reached SIAC n I was not bored for a single second!! I loved their journey so far, simple yet attractive! Initially I was a bit skeptical about their student-teacher relation and the visible age gap, but they managed to portray it beautifully...with story as well as acting. I loved the fact that there were hardly any kitchen politics. And what I loved the most until recently was there were hardly any class difference dialogues...the dialogues like wo sadakchhap do kaudi ki ladki piss me off more than anything else! The story is typical, but they present it differently n that's what I love about it the most. As for actors, I LOVE THEIR CHEMISTRY. I LOVE THEIR COMFORT LEVEL. I LOVE THEIR SIMPLICITY. Same goes for the characters, shaurya and anokhi are so comfortable around eachother since beginning...be it their arguments or romance, there was no awkwardness ever...neither because of gender, nor the age, nor the relationship...this is what I want to see in modern day couples... organic growth and not making a big deal out of it!!
So basically, I have loved the actors, characters and their comfort level in the scenes. The story is great no doubt, and I'll be the happiest if it stays that way. But with quite an experience of ITV, I don't expect the story to be the best forever...it will take a hit at some point of time n I am ok with it...low expectations, low disappointment. And I don't think saakk story will fall to the level I will not be able to accept. All I expect is the characters remaining true to their nature n I can watch the show happily! This show has such an overall feel good factor...it doesn't come across tacky at all n I love such polished shows!!
Sorry for the long ass essay. Being new on this forum, I thought I would tell about my interest in this show a bit in detail. I am addicted to this show! So much that I have already watched the full show thrice in a span of like 3 weeks!đ And I can't wait to witness the shakhi wedding track after today's hugđ¤Š

Why was he surprised? I was confused when I saw his expressions.
He has always known that Anokhi loves SS and very deeply too. He also knows that SS loves Anokhi dearly but the relationship might not work out due to the whole Sab family dynamics.
He is and never has been anything to Anokhi who sees him friend at best and acquaintance at worst. He also has to know that Anokhi is not over SS yet. He has heard her drunken talks, seen her tears and heartbreak in her voice.
I thought it is an odd timing for him to confess. Maybe he was trying to tell her that she is made for love and she has alternatives. If her heart can walk away from SS, he will be there to hold her and love her.
Heâs been building castles in the air and thought he had a chance. Especially with Anokhi saying that you shouldnât let opportunities go. He tried âCarpe Diemâ and then wussed out!!

Why was he surprised at dost..
He knows she loves SS.
She herself has said it to him..
Yes, even I am shipping their friendhsip .. âşď¸
It was weird that he was surprised....but maybe it was Anokhiâs speech that gave him the courage to try confession and her reaction gave him the nonverbal answer.
Poor guy said âdostâ as if it was a curse word. Like in a day she was going to rebound to him.
