Its nothing to do with not being comfortable

In BTS videos she is walking normally

And even dances (that step she does always by rotating in circles I hate that she does in almost all occasions)

So reason of this onscreen walk is something else ,I am sure

what,she wants to makeherself meme worthy

Okay, but she should know how to be agile in various different costumes. If she's really uncomfortable with sarees, she should be given other clothes.
