That's one of my most favourite moments of the show. I think those 2 seconds were hefty on anyone who has been in a situation like Shiva. Those two seconds are like floodgates of emotions, feelings. Shiva is left with strange mulling over the fact that he stepped into the shoes of a man that he could never be. As much as Shiva’s life revolved around Raavi, Dev was the centre of her universe. It’s too much for anyone to deal with.
No amount of plastering or Yadon ki Baraat can fix that. That one relationship that could have been his own, is merely a partake left from his brother’s soul.
How painful and ironical! Shivi isn’t what Gaura think they are! There’s too much between them.
Well, Raavi’s interactions with Dev/Shiva is a classic example of Cads Vs Dads.
While Cads ensure a sense of giddiness, sexual enticement, dads give a vision of stability, warmth. Women tend to be attracted to Cads more at the physical level but look for Dads as long term partners. Dev gave the vibe of a secure fairy tale Dad for Raavi and no wonder she chose him.
It would be interesting to see an emotionally distant, physically close Raavi to Shiva. It would be their biggest point of contention and conflict.
We need a scene between Dev and Raavi, with Shiva hiding and listening from a distance. It would be an excellent state of emotional vulnerability and a myriad of moods and details to explore.Honestly, I am done with Dhara hitting the kids and sobbing for hours. Even Gautam and Dhara need a conflict or some progress. They can't be parents to overgrown kids all their lives.
I absolutely love how you describe things ❤️ It’s honestly one of my most favorite moments too!! It shows that you don’t need dialogues or drama to create a lasting impact. I love how subtle yet painful the moment is! There is so much the show can explore when it comes to ShiVi and their emotions! I really hope they do justice! I think it would be super interesting to see an emotionally distant yet physically close Raavi and how it impacts Shiva! They can create so much conflict and bring forth so many emotions. A solid & beautiful story in the making if done well.
@Bold I would love this!! This one is a must!! They can explore so many emotions in just this one scene!!
And same, I’m ready for the story to move forward and actually delve into the complexity and various layers of ShiVi. If they can offer the same with the couples, I would love to see that as well! What I’m tired of is the constant dragging and drama with no progress in the story.
