Yes, if he hugged her then, he will lose his values. He is a person who respect other's privacy till they mess with him. If you have noticed, he never approached or behaved with Pallavi as a man usually in his position do. I don't want him to solve all the D-fam problems just to please Pallvi, he needn't get that involved just yet. What I felt in yesterday's episode is that he is going to focus on Pallavi herself first and what she needs. I would love it if he was shown at least talking to Siddhesh on the phone to introduce himself properly and to understand their family dynamics better. He is going to love his real sasural, methinks. You know, this is one of the things I love about Raghav (among so many others), the way he maintains that respectful distance from women, especially women like her. He never abuses his power to do sleazy stuff, and as we've seen so far it's always the other women who approached him first. With Pallavi, aside from that party night where he put his arm around her in a fake display of affection, he hasn't really touched her in an intimate way. This is why when it gradually happens it would be wonderful to watch. I want it to be organic. I want to see the first time they have a proper hug that it's at the right moment under the right circumstances.

This is the reason why I can't hate him even after he questioned her character (that's a big turn off for me). If it was any other ML, I would have completely written them off.

No matter how bad he claims himself to be, he know his limits especially around a girl. We can understand this side of his character when he carried unconscious Pallavi to his house in a drunk state. As we all know, a drunk person doesn't have any control over his inner emotions. Tbh that scene increased my respect towards him.

I too want their first hug to be natural and memorable, not something rushed and out of scene.
