Yes yes yes to the point about Shivi's missing UST. Where's the pull we saw even before they got married? Where's Shiva's ever-present intensity, that subtle emotion hidden in its depths? Everything was on point pre-marriage to the bonfire night. Remember how we all lauded how well they were using the location and how good the editing was? And then it went down this landslide. Urgh.

Shivi's equation took on a lot of angst and baggage after the wedding and while that was sad for us it made sense. On trip to the haveli we got slight instances of them returning to their previous status quo, but with their new relationship and problems thrown in. That made sense too. The most beautiful and meaningful episode happened and then everything went down the drain. Until this longest-day-ever, all of their nokjhok had some meaning to it even if they got inserted simply as lollipops for the fans. After her chattan pandya moment, the intensity that always brewed between them is seen nowhere, and I totally blame the lazy writing. The actors are doing an amazing job, had good chemistry, they're on good terms so there's no other reason for it to suddenly suffer.

If they're trying to make up for the lack of something, this is not the way to do it. The makers and channel very well know they've got the golden goose with Shivi. They'd also be wise to realise WHY people came for them, because what we're getting with each episode is always a step away from what we've loved to see. Fine, you wanna stretch out the day? Atleast give them meaningful scenes instead of plopping them in for a few minutes just to appease all the fans.

The scenes given to ShiVi are repetitive at this point! They have so much potential but if they keep going like this- fans will lose interest, the actors will lose motivation and it honestly won’t be the same even if they recover. I have seen other shows where things go off track and the writers wait too long and by then it’s too late. PS writers can still bring this on track but if they keep going like this, even if we get ShiVi, it won’t be the same. That tension and passion will disappear and even if they bring it back, it’ll seem forced. I really hope that doesn’t happen here. 🤦‍♀️

Absolutely loved this!! I think you hit on every single point!! This is what I’m afraid to losing if they keep up these repetitive scenes! The fact that we have so much to analyze and discuss about them says a lot! If the writers don’t realize the potential they have and end up making things cheesy, it’ll be such a shame!

I hate the fact, Dhara is beating up a young man. I know the joke went too far but there are other ways of dealing with it. That’s unacceptable and I want to smack Dhara to see how it feels.

Why is Pandya Store showing so much violence against family members? It’s not entertaining. The last few episodes haven’t left me with the feel good that usually comes with watching.

A day is dragged for so long. It’s boring. Raavi’s characterization needs work. She’s contradicting herself and is very dense. It’s not fun to watch her. I definitely didn’t today. Something’s gotta give because I refuse to making myself back off with it’s been 5 days. I don’t think the maker’s care how many days it’s been. It’s us who give the reason to find some positivity.

Raavi’s bravado with Shiva is also useless. When it’s time to speak she doesn’t. She wants to be happy and I am happy she’s thinking but she’s coming off like a person who just thinks for a second and forgets about it next. Action is required on her part but nope, let’s not have a conversation.

I, too am worried that in the race for TRP, we are going to get unnecessary drama. Not even good drama.

I am not on twitter or Insta, chose not to join those SM platforms. But I am glad the fans are calling the makers BS and rightfully so. I activated my IF account after 8 years thinking, will come here to support the show and participate in the discussions. If the makers continue to show us abuse and illogical nonsense, am not going to be easy on them. I did this during IPKKND times too. Going to use Mami's dialogues, "chun chun ke badla loongi"😆

I think the timeline will speedup. I think they have like 1,5/2 weeks of episodes already filmed, so if they are filming the pooja now, we will see it in 2 weeks, I hope. I even will be okay if they show it in 3 weeks😂😂

Hahahaha the “6 month theory”, my my I will be crazy by then and will need a pooja for myself 😂😂

Agree! Raavi was much better in the pre wedding scenes and right after the wedding too. But in this long day they are shoving on us, she has been so inconsistent. I seriously think, the writers don't know which direction to go with Raavi, she is like a pendulum, constantly swaying. They better get her character graph all correct😕

I remember a small scene just after the wedding. It’s when Shiva is shoving Raavi’s things in her suitcase and comes across the gift she bought for Dev. You can tell it hurts him in the moment and he tries to brush it aside. I wish they gave us more of these subtle but unguarded moments of Shiva. I know it’s ITV and the writers made it clear there is no such thing as Raavi and Dev. But for Shiva, he married the girl who used to fawn over his bro day and night. There is no way the slate clears so quickly. As a viewer, I would appreciate small scenes where we feel for the characters and can sense their vulnerability. Fingers crossed that the future holds much more well written tracks.

I might be wrong but i guess these episodes were shot when there was an uncertainity regarding future shoot as rajasthan imposed lockdown...

So they hav ejust inserted random scenes and stretched the day...i hope and pray this drama gets over soonish and we progress towards some real story not only for shivi but as a whole
