Yes, I was waiting for him to step up! They had ample opportunities! They could have shown him supporting Kanchan, they could have shown him taking up the responsibility of looking for Shaurya or he’ll, they could have even shown him as the kidnapper ( not a malicious one) to try to prove a point to help the SS-AB love story, but no...... what a waste!
