Babusahib v/s Satyakaam

Wow, I can't remember the last time we got such a POWER PACKED Imlie episode😆.....ek toh this entire Hyderabad schedule has been such a drag with depressing Didi related storylines and overall dragging storylines....I'd almost forgotten what this show is capable of on its A game, but they really brought it back after aaages today. 👏

Today, we began with a glimpse of Adi-Imlie ka soul connection😆.....Babusahib ne bike chalaate huye mann se awaaz lagaayi ki "Hum aa rahe hain, Imlie...bas thodi der intezaar kar lo".....and wahaan lodge mein jhat se Imlie ko sense bhi ho gaya ki Babusahib ne use awaaz lagaayi😆.....uske baad se Imlie was constantly restless sensing him from the moment he reached the lodge and started looking for her door to door.

But first, Babusahib had to get the maar peet out of the way😆. But honestly though, what a FAB action sequence the team put together.....A-plus work! 👏👏👏.....Everything from the direction, to the acting - GM was in next level EPIC HERO mode aaj😆, to the background score....they ACED it. It was the kind of stuff you could enjoy with popcorn in a movie theater😆.....the way the goons were showing up ek ek karke, Adi giving them all these thundering menacing looks and then proceeding to beat them up ek ek karke.....lol I had to laugh that after the first guy attacked him, Adi didn't even seem that curious to know ki itne saare log kahaan se aur kyun aa rahe hain mujhse ladne😆.....he instantly went into action mode and even decided to CHASE down the one guy who RAN AWAY from him all terrified🤣.....Kya BHAAGE Babusahib....damn👏.....GM got to display his running skills again😆......and phir baahar in that courtyard sa space, him beckoning them to come fight with him😆.....all the goons looking at each other unsure ki pehle kaun jaayega ladne🤣....and that one guy who got like 10 high speed slaps and then khud hi hilta reh gaya🤣.....it was total masala movie stuff😆.

Anyways, finally SK arrived to stop Babusahib in his tracks with a tubelight attack😆....and uske baad tamancha bhi aa gaya to capture Adi at gunpoint YET AGAIN😆......meanwhile Imlie bechaari pure episode mein bhaagti hi reh gayi after discovering Adi's watch and realizing he's there somewhere and with her Dadda missing too, she put two and two together about what must be happening to Adi.....lol but she still couldn't manage to find him today.

Then we shifted away from action to the grave digging part of the episode😆.....Babusahib and SK getting to chit chat while the rest of the goons are busy digging his grave in the background😆.....Jokes apart, SK confronts Adi for all the pain he's given to Imlie and proclaims that he will bury Adi alive to make him feel the suffocation Imlie has gone through. Adi tells him he admits all his mistakes....but he wasn't able to fight circumstances before this....but now he loves Imlie a lot and can do anything for her......SK basically doesn't believe a word coming out of Adi's mouth😆.....and one can't even blame him.....the Karma of lies does catch up with you no matter how earnest you may have been in other ways.

Adi continues to insist he's never lied to Imlie, never given her dhoka....but SK basically insinuates to Adi that Imlie feels he's betrayed her and that is what throws Adi off😆.....that Imlie now actually believes he's given her dhoka.....lol....he again pleads with SK to let him meet Imlie once because he is willing to die a thousand deaths for all the pain he's caused her but he can't bear that she thinks he betrayed her.....SK again shoots down this request too😆....and says he will proudly own this death after Adi's laash is found....lol.....then Adi pushes back against SK's accusations again and reveals that he's told Malini the truth.....SK is least interested in this revelation🤣.....

Finally the last portion was all about SK providing a detailed breakdown to Adi about how much Imlie has changed since she came with him to the city.....for the first time, it hits Adi very hard as he remembers the laughing/chirpy Imlie he first met in PD who's now mainly been reduced to a shell of herself in some ways since she spends all her time hiding her pain and even seems to have forgotten how to fight for her rights.....SK blasts Adi left right and center for this and finally Adi falls back with a stricken look on his face accepting full blame for all of Imlie's pain and tears.....silently begging her forgiveness and then accepting his fate as SK walks him over to the gravesite.....lol

Tomorrow's precap still isn't showing that seperation scene😆.....India waale are instead being treated to the visual of Babusahib flopping into the grave that's been dug for him and calmly waiting to be buried alive😆.....Imlie meanwhile still running around and then finally SK walking away after having completed the burial....lol.....anyways, suffice to say, Imlie will manage to dig him out tomorrow...what they talk about after that remains to be seen😆

P.S. Hearty congrats to all of us for getting an episode fully focused on three of our fav. characters👏😆.....not even a glimpse of Didi, Chaturvedis or Tripathis.....hallelujah😆

Aditya has never had to come to terms with his initial actions. He has always known it, felt bad about it but never had to completely account for it. He did today while looking into Satyakam’s eyes. A father’s eyes that were begging him to explain why he walked over all the respect he had showered on him, trodden over the love Mithi had shown him. Eyes that were ready to avenge injustice meted out to his daughter, Imlie.

Fear of death is a great peacemaker. Impending doom forces you to recognize your faults in a way that nothing else can. That is what happened with Aditya today. He has traversed a long distance but this reckoning was a long time coming.

Lacking laughter, uncaring about hungering after success, a shadow of her former self, broken and loath to fight for herself - Satyakam sees exactly what marriage to Aditya has turned her into like only a father can. But Satyakam was unwilling to see the love in Aditya’s eyes.

Aditya recognized it all. While he is ready to accept every single wrongdoing, he is unable to fathom that Imlie thinks he betrayed her. He is willing to die but not accept that Imlie thinks he betrayed her which is really her naivety in play. This is why the one thing he always was pleading with her for and she never responded in affirmation to - trust, was so significant to him.

And this is also why Aditya and Imlie are inestimable. Nothing will be able to touch their bond as long as they are a system together. They only need to find their way to that point from where they can start walking together, without any past baggage between each other.

I am in full awee of the mini action flick we have been treated with..matlab kya boloon main...the team has outdone themselves with such a beautifully directed and conceptualized action sequence they went above and beyond anything seen on desi TV in terms of action. Every aspect so well integrated and as you said the vibe of sitting in a theatre was all there. I legit felt I am watching a Salman Khan or South flick of Prabhas ya the action heroes down there how they make the hero look larger than life.. the best part was apne babusahib didn't needed that many gimmicks and his haath and looks were enough to do tiya pancha of the goons kya mast hila daala sabko...

GM was OUTSTANDING like wowewww wow wow. 👏 one could see he enjoyed this .. the open space really gave them so much of liberty to take the action notces higher and not be like usual sequences we are subjected too on TV.. ek.dum.alag approach thi and so far the finest work of atif and I have been following his work from.years as director directing these action sequences..he really outdid himself by maintaining the drama and action ka balance.. totally worth hyping every bit of it.. more than the auzaar it was GM ke expressions such fire in his eyes and determination 🙌😍👏👌. Take a Bow Team.. seriously this is the team I take pride in.. this is the show I subscribed too.. this is what they are capable of on their best days and this kind of execution sets the bar so so high 👏

Now coming to the jungle part mannn my heart broke so hard at his mujhe apni patni se baat karni hai and the jhatka he got ke imlie aisa sochti hai that was too much for him that imlie misunderdstands him.. he was OK with all the accusations SK was throwing tried to reason too ke he never ever did dhoka and yeah well he never did that is where tumse kabhi jhoot nahi bola koi parda nahi hai comes into play he has been an open book so that accusation was really a big dhaka and I felt so terrible for him there made to think he is dhokebaaz which he isn't and the pleading to meet her just once to clarify and then they can kill him man.. if this isn't love what is.. he acknowledges he has done wrong and fine they can kill him too but let him meet her just once just give him that one chance to die peacefully awwww . But wohi toh nahi dena SK ko...peace.. I also loved adi finally getting to rant a bit too ke usko jo suna rahe hain was it really his fault .. tab kahan thay dadda why did he not do anything then ..he was a victim than too and is one now too yet he is ready for punishment

The whole saying it loud the extent of damage was heartbreaking.. we all.agree it has happened we can see it and adi can also but still spelling it out was oh so painful and that made him accept the punishment ek dum aise hi..gir gaya grave main to make up for imlie ka dard to make sure she gets her life back as if she will without you Dumbo.. but again it is heartening to see the extent they can go just to make sure they aren't causing pain to the other the sheer contrast to the other relationship jahan jaan dena becomes a way to cause pain. Anyway I will 🤐

Imlie bechari bhatakti phir rahi hai in her contrived galat Fehmi dekhte hain what they serve us but for now I am watching this on repeat nonstop caz am.on top of the world

To echo Adi's action to the goons, come ON and TRY ME!!! and the Seeti for the overall episode execution!

Cant wait for you to post the caps AY of SK n Adi who just were brilliant, as was the episode..

Plus no extras and that was a huge BONUS to us ALL. Nothing annoying to distract us from the action packed sequence of BS and SK.

The fear, the desperation, the worry was well done by GM and the way he was knocking on the doors and did that extra peek to satisfy himself that Imlie was not there, was super. I think Adi thought that she was kidnapped by some guys as the auto wala did say 2 other folks were with her, hence his race to save her.

When he realized the goons were at the lodge, his transformation from a worried husband to one of an avenging angel was swift and lethal for those poor guys, who were at the receiving end. His run was filmed brilliantly and the rest of the fight too...

Coming to SK and Adi and the scene behind them was visually arresting. The only ROFL moment was the 4 guys trying to dig a grave and just repeating the same.. not throwing any mud out...

The visual of Adi n SK faceoff was nicely done.. and the lines of a father who has failed once, faced unbearable pain due to his past inaction, was all set to avenge his daughter's honor and happiness. How well did SK sum it up for Adi saying that his bitiya has gone quiet, who has become adept at hiding her sadness, forgot to fight for her rights, her own self, become a shadow of her former self.. this was what Adi needed to hear. The words that he hurled at Imlie to deny the forced shaadi and his subsequent treatment of Imlie, have come back to haunt him. He may have apologized to Imlie, but they are not easily forgotten, especially by Adi who recalled every painful taunt and treatment to Imlie, that made her cry, slowly wearing her spirit down. I think at the end that is what undid Adi totally. The FB's were apt and showcased their initial days when he did treat her horribly and deeply wounded Imlie by his words.

he did try to defend his actions and said that he was willing to die but not before meeting Imlie one last time. Again BS did not care much for his life, the fact that Imlie thought him to be a liar, that did not sit well with him. He also did say that he never cheated or took advantage of her..

The watch - its significance came out today. Imlie leaving it for Adi to find it at the Tripathis and Adi putting it back in his pocket instead of wearing it like he always does.. all unfolded today for its reveal to Imlie.

The soul connect between them was on full display, the hearts sensing and hearing each other whereas earlier, both missed seeing each other..due to their abject sorrow.

Imlie/ST did say she had to run for 30 minutes n looking at her scenes.. yes.. totally get it. That her dadda was going to kill the traitor, her BS was well done by ST.

The MU has been setup as well.. Imlie thinking Adi went back to his moon after professing to love her and Adi shell shocked to hear that Imlie revealed to SK about their state of affairs.

My only question, where did Meethi go? I did not miss the rest at all and most of all was doing the jig when DD did not even make a token appearance today. phew... can we pleej have the same tomorrow as well? We are ok with having Meethi.. but not the rest.. not yet...

BS accepting his fate, dejected at not being able to meet his patni one last time.. falls into his grave..

SK was really out for his blood and showed his traits as a rebel leader today. 👏

They were worthy adversaries today.....the husband v/s the father.....Adi may be in the process of making amends to Imlie but SK was bang on in terms of his hurt as a father and how he's watched his bundle of light and joy become a dim shell of herself.....so his concern and anger as a father was totally understandable.

Adi stood his ground too in terms of admitting his mistakes but sticking to his resolve regarding his love for Imlie and his willingness to do anything for her....."Aap nahin jaante ki Imlie tak pahunchne ke liye humne kitna lamba safar taye kiya hai"......you could feel his yearning for Imlie in that moment.....but Karma isn't done playing with you yet, Babusahib....lol aapne lamba safar toh taye kiya hai but aage aur tadapna baaki hai aapko Imlie ke liye😆

How touching was the bit where he also said to SK, "Hum apni patni se milna chahte hain"

Not sure how Adi is going to get this trust affirmation from Imlie now but let's see what tomorrow brings....based on how hurt he looked today to hear that Imlie thinks he betrayed her, that will deffo play a part in that "seperation" convo.

At least this dhulai wasn't dragged full for the next episode so will give due credit. Also, no weeping scenes of Cs, Ts, and specifically didi...

Great episode today- so small separation on the cards - but I think it’s for Imlie to realize what she actually feels for her BS. And as I said in the other thread, I don’t think Adi’s dialogues will play out exactly like the UK promo😆. Whatever he says will make Imilie accepts her feelings.. can’t wait for tomorrow!

From one gun point to another, from berating Imlie to acknowledging all the pain given to her, to refusing to even breathe the same space with her to cannot live with out her- it took a father’s heart to show Aditya the mirror. As Satyakaam was describing Imlie, Adi. had his flashbacks and how the pain and realization showed in his eyes.. It was brutally heartrending! Two men who love Imlie so immensely, both stood there dejected.

Gashmeer and Vijay Singh Parmar need a round of applause..! they were incredible!

And ofcourse the creatives need a pat on their back for realizing what their show is made off.. And also a shout to them for keeing the C’s, T’s and Didi away! 🎉

Addressing bolds one by one:

1. Soul connection- yeah I was like that connection hasn’t made an appearance since IPPKND. It jarred a bit since Adi Lie relationship and connections have been so real so far and Imlie reaching Aditya in time or Aditya reaching Imlie have always been very believable situations. This is the first time the connection made an appearance - but after the initial question- it seemed to fit in nicely.

2. Actions and fight sequence have been awesome. Amazing ‘choreography’- yes really - it was really superb. I too liked how Aditya chased the goons- probably thought it’s a kidnapping gang initially.

3. Yes- very upset with the way creatives have madeImlie’s character suddenly forget it was she who sent Aditya away. We had this discussion after PD scenes when I had suggested perhaps she still doesn’t believe Aditya really loves her. But then the point was brought up that the scene in the hut basically convinced her of his love. And yes it made sense to me .

That is a big mistake now to make her character turn like this- she is the one who pushed him away so now it raises a question that all that Malini Didi jaap she did and pushing him to keep his vachan were all false? Those of us who love her will of course try and make an attempt to understand- that perhaps when he walked away, like us, she didnot believe that he would actually stay away or that she thought May be keeping his promises to Malini would take time and even more conviction. But then learning about their HM and that he had gone for it days after following her around, could possibly make her feel betrayed . Similar to how Aditya felt betrayed when she left after pushing her away and telling her to find a nice guy and get married . But still seemed odd- hearing her ‘say’ the word - ‘dhoka’

4. I liked the last part with Adi actually realizing and regretting how much Imlie has changed. But wish they had also followed up with the PD scenes. But now showing his realization how much being with him has affected her basically reinforces his thought following his phone convo with Meethi after Imlie was shot and admitted to the hospital- that it is always his ‘saath’ that has brought her trouble

5. This then cleanly paves the way for the separation track IMO. Which I guess is okay with me since I am sure it will follow with Imlie’s realization of how much she loves him

In any case Atif’s roller coaster is doing the loopy- loop on us and has taken a gut- jerking unexpected swan dive. Hope we come out of it unscathed🤦🏽‍♀️🙆🏽‍♀️😐
