I think I asked you for an alternate audiobook site. I already use Storytel but it doesn’t have many books. Audiboi is the perfect complementary site to Storytel, what Storytel doesn’t have, Audiboi has. Thanks a lot for letting us know about the site.

I'm doing the Round the World challenge for a GR book-club.

The author is American, I searched for it. While reading I got the sense that the setting was American too, and I just figured that it was not made clear anywhere.

I haven’t started it as yet but will do so soon. Murakami’s writing is not for everyone. His writing style is very different from most authors. I liked his books Norwegian Wood and Men Without Women but that’s also because they were in the more regular space. I think reading Murakami is an acquired taste. Personally, I will be surprised if I end up liking Sputnik Sweetheart. It’s said to be a good introduction to murakami’s writing, so let’s see.

Sometimes I end up liking a book once I finish it even when I don't like it in the beginning. So, while I'm not liking it so far, I'll reserve my opinion until I finish this one too. I'll give it till the end of the book before deciding whether I'm going to read anymore of his books.

I read two books in between reading Sputnik Sweetheart, and one of them - The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller - is really good. It's become one of my favourites. ❤️

All the books are within 400 pages, some are even less than 300 pages.

Contemporary, classic, horror, romance, thriller and a fantasy. I might add another book that’s been popular on booktube/bookstagram as well for the sake of one more option. Then we choose any 4 books that appeal most to us.
