@red: He’s going to get pulled from both sides. But I expect, unlike other ITV ML, he won’t put anyone over Anokhi. From the way KV said, Shaurya is supposed to have a level of madness for Anokhi.

Well said!

I think Shaurya is in an very unique position from ITV ML perspective for several reasons-

1)The family he has now is one where is he bound by gratitude and obligations. All parties involved are aware of the fact and that is why there is more fear of losing each other. I have never seen a mother profess haq on her son's life the way Devi did when she said she did not need anyone's permission including her son's to decide who he will get married to. He will soon recognize his uncle and aunt do not care about holding the family together, they only care about control...atleast Devi does. His family is already beginning to splinter with Kanchan all set to rebel. Interestingly Anokhi brings him, her own set of family including his birth mother and a differing perspective on relationships. He will soon realize that one does not need sacrifice their happiness and dreams to hold family together.

2)Sab family needs him more than he needs them. He is their heir and face of their empire. There is no backup here. He is also stolen unfairly and manipulated from their younger brother. The truth might change his loyalties. The question is if Tej is willing to take that risk just to appease his wife.

It will be interesting to see how they handle this. SAAKK has always taken a path less traveled so I'm not going to be good at predicting what is to come.

But you're right about the relationships he currently values and the actually value of those relationships. Keeping an intact family is important to him. He left a fiancée just because she wanted to go to school. I feel the splintering of the Sabherwals will be a huge burden on him. I hope Devi, nor Tej blame him for that. They'll probably blame Anokhi, just like they blamed Aastha for when Kanchan and Gayatri visited her.

I have faith that he won't leave Anokhi, but how will he be able to keep it all together??

It is interesting that Anokhi is the one bringing into his life real love! She brings her unconditional love, as well as the maternal love he's always craved with Aastha. I don't want Anokhi to try too hard to reconcile Shaurya and Aastha. I want that to be a natural progression.

You're right, the Sabherwals do need him more. He is the waaris!! He's the face of SIAC. He's the one with the accolades and the vision. Will Tej and Devi cut him off? Will he walk away?? I don't see either happening. But I can see Devi using that to threaten Anokhi. The Anokhi that is sure of Shaurya's love isn't easily threatened, if last episode is to be believed.

On a side note, I loved the precap and am sooooooooo excited about the coming week!

I think this generation parents maybe able to break this cycle... At least the ones who understand the importance of it...

I think parents should also vocal about this. In tv also we can see protection n contraceptives ads so many children also see this , so instead of wrong info or wrong way of info parents should have proper conversation with them.

arrey kaha? Now condom ads cannot be shown on TV until 11 pm or so 🙄 bcz of the ads are seductive 😑

I think the only way we can do it is when educated people like us take the responsibility of breaking these taboos.
