So, hearing about the rasam a crazy idea popped up in my mind so I googled about it, although I couldn’t really find much about the rasam, I found it’s meaning

So since Devyani’s father is not alive and the other elders are totally against Devkit, and Sai even did Devyani’s kanyadaan, so if there’s something in this ritual, can we please get to see Virat and Sai do it together as a married couple

This rasam is prevalent here too (in Bengali culture) 😆. The bridegroom is given a feast when he comes to stay for 2 ½ days.

I guess there's no ritual except giving ashirwaad, the bride's family will entertain the bridegroom through feast
