I continue to believe that her intentions are not just regarding Shaurya not being someone else's. The way she said that this marriage is necessary for her and the way she keeps manipulating Devi. I'm so sure that there is some reason (whether that is just because she wants to get revenge or something else). Because otherwise she is the only character on the show with pathetic motivations and I want to hope that our CVs aren't writing her character that poorly that her justifications are so lame.

Bold - maybe she has another intention, she is taking taking some sort of revenge from Shaurya like break the engagement n insulted her family

@bold: This is my hope! All the other characters have some depth. I would hope Shagun does too. And the only reason her character seems haphazard is due to the Goa/KV being out circumstances.

I was thinking the same about her majboori for marriage! Why must she get married? Is it related to money? It might explain why she came back from Cambridge.

I really think that she initially came back because she loved Shaurya but upon seeing him in love with someone else and seeing Devi trying to manipulate her, Shagun decided that she is done getting played and is gonna teach these Sabherwals a lesson or something. And maybe she is pissed that Shaurya could move on so quick so she decided to make it hard for him to get his love too lol. Otherwise it's hard to explain why she told Devi she is done at holi and then suddenly flipped. Idk I just feel like there must be something because otherwise she is just a weak character 🤣

Right I really think that the money would make sense! It would explain why she suddenly agreed to the marriage and she probably did initially want to marry him again out of love. But when she realized that he doesn't love her, she still needed that money so she stuck around. The way she was acting with Devi the other day, she was giving proper vamp vibes finally though and soon even Devi won't be able to control her. The way she was telling Devi "I don't know how you are going to do it, but when you're done talking to Shaurya, Anokhi and him better be broken up and I better be getting married to him." This girl is finally getting dangerous and there must be a reason for it!
