We were just discussing this on another thread yesterday ki we may need to keep hopes of PD alive, even if it’s barely so. 😆 The location does look different and I will not put anything past SK. He dragged Dev across the forest floor after all 😆

And this is not the first time. Every time she needs to thrash around she has to impugn the others - like the sindoor drama? I understand that Aditya needed to vomit it out before she went on a tangent and he is guilty to an extent but that in no way means she gets a free pass for her behavior.

@bold: +100.....I continue to struggle with that why too.....that absolute free pass they give her in slandering anyone she feels like.....it's just not tolerable and always brings the story down IMO.

I know others here are saying that the truth being out will now take away Malini's excuse that he's lying to her but I'm still not sure how exactly that takes away the guilt completely.....and it is that very guilt that is used as a free pass for the writers to show her getting away with everything....that is the guilt that supposedly puts Adi in mute mode even if he does token angry pushbacks....so it all just feels moot in a sense....but I'd love to be proven wrong on this. 😆

I have currently started a rewatch of the 2nd PD track. I usually do not rewatch the episodes before the gunshot track because seeing Adi being a meanie to Imlie is💔. But aaj I thought I will rewatch this 2nd PD trip track aise hi.

I watched the epi where Adi & Imlie take leave from home. The Tripathis were so adorable in their leave taking of Imlie & missing her. Also they were scolding Adi constantly for his rude behaviour with Imlie. It is just sad to see this because their current behaviour with Imlie is so drastically different😔.

Exactly, what irritated me in yesterday’s episode was his total submission to Malini. His lines explaining why he is accepting Imlie, I felt like he is pitying Imlie for all the sacrifices she has done. He wants to support her as she is fighting alone, as far as I know Imlie never asked for his support. He offered his support on his own while gifting sindhoor. Doesn’t he want relationship with Imlie for himself? Is he getting out of relationship with Malini for only Imlie’s sake. If that is the case Imlie doesn’t need that token relationship.

Malini’s lines were good as they showcased how mahaan she felt about herself to consider Imlie as her sister and at the same time how low she considers Imlie compared to her.

But Adi’s token defense for Imlie and justification for choosing Imlie disappointed me😒

The other major disjointed thing in this whole reveal was Malini acting like it's all breaking news to her and she could never even IMAGINE this truth before😆.....itna over-reaction when she has ALREADY tried to commit suicide over imagining/suspecting exactly this that Adi-Imlie love each other....but jataa aise rahi thi ki it's breaking news to her that her "best friend/7 pheron wala pati" and "muh boli behen" giving her "dhoka" is totally out of the blue for her, isliye her mouthing random bakwaas in "shock" is all "justified"😆

How the hell does anyone buy her bakwaas dusri lines when this during takes 0.1 sec to flip his ab (s) into some new token beginnings while simultaneously accusing him is beyond me.. akhir chahiti kya hai aap? I would probably think and extract some zabardasti ki sympathy as is expected here from us only if I can see her make sense for few secs in continuity yahan toh yeh didi so sentence kya 2 words ke darmiyan bhi continuity nahi rakh paati. And isse sympathy karein sure sure sure x 100000

As for Imlie accepting that adhikar ke bina rishta nahin hota.....lol I wish that had actually gotten better build up than disillusionment coming from hearing HM planning and physical abuse from AC.....the intent may be one thing but the impact is quite pheeka right now vis a vis Imlie's thought process.

I get that their INTENT must have been to make Imlie realize her idealistic views of being content with her one-side nibhaaoing of her rishta are not tenable.....so she is shown to realize that there is no point hanging around in a place where the rishta itself has no meaning since it has no haq and she is only facing derision from all sides......she wonders who she is bearing it all for? lol so does that mean she was bearing it for Adi all this time otherwise? 😆....it does feel very contradictory to show her giving up her haq on her own all this while and now lamenting ki haq kyun nahin hai rishte pe😆.....again, that part didn't come across very clearly in the jumbled way they set it up......remains to be seen if the dramatic high point of the pitaayi and reunion ties it all together.

They weren't really thinking with the lame adhikaar line that they had tk throw in to make way for the lame poem. It sure is not convincing but then again it was setup as a parallel to adi saying how the rishta that was thopoed imlie thought of it as aashirwaad never asked for adhikar over him. I mean I get all the technical aspect and the paper part of it what they were trying to do but they failed on execution and edit was plain bad too.. I wish we have had better realization on imlie's part too caz it doesn't work vis a vis she giving him vachans and all and the getting all shocked and shaken ke ek date pe jaa rahe hain. Too much contrived stuff.

Btw I keep forgetting another underrated moment in this whole things was adi specifically mentioning to didi how imlie has always listened to his family ka har decision bina raising a question. I found it intresting caz didi pe yeh bilkul lagoo nahi hota hahah she is the one who does everything to hurt the very family and never actually listens to anything they have to say and no adi did not meant it as his family ka hukum klhi hai Shashan or her being submissive caz she is biwi number 2 but still it was a subtle blow to her that she never actually respects or have actually considered his family her own too.. that how even though he didn't gave imlie the haq or maan she made the family her own and took intrest and became an inseparable part and disi can try but imlie is connected to the roots deeply intervined and that one doesn't need has or adhikaars to make someone their own and haq and adhikar cheekh cheekh ke cheene nahi jaate woh toh khud mil jaate hai if one would put some effort

Coming to episode finally adi told didi truth but somewhere I did not like didi stand and overall her cheap allegation on adilie ...she was just ranting non stop jaise khud ne toh perfection mein top ki position li hai ...🤢

Secondly here imlie totally standing up for her self which was indeed needed from her side from the time she got married to aditya ..but she just over looked all and adjusted to the given circumstances so that her amma won't get hurt ..but today she stood and chod diya adini ko ...😆now tommorrow I want to see how he comes to know she left ...again without telling him..and hope didi ka dukh thoda kaam dikhaye😆ab get well soon hogaya ,sympathy hogayi ab bas aur nahi jhelna ...😆

Finally adi clarification and the stand that imlie is not at fault was good but guess thoda dhulai he should have given moonji for degrading imlie without knowing truth anyways ..going forward ab chances honge I guess when he will do that 👍🏼

So let see how he gets welcomed by sk .just waiting for when and where all this will crop up

LOL everything has flipped in a sense....and I wouldn't mind that if there was some sense of ACKNOWLEDGING the parallels in the flips for the characters ka behavior......it would add more poignancy to the storyline to show people reflecting on the shifts....especially Adi....as he sort of was doing when Imlie had left his house and later when he brought her back from the Hostel.....we needed more continuity on that to feel the links and parallels to the past and present......

Back then Adi was the rookha one and Tripathis were all warm with her.....now Adi is wholly dedicated to Imlie and his family has pulled back....lol this would all leave more impact with continuity in terms of scenes/dialogues.
