What was so glaring and a bit of a shock for me today as some of you mentioned - was Malinis' language in her rants. It's one thing to be taken aback with the reveal - but the language and the nature of the rant was so tacky and down market - it did not suit her portrayal by the makers thus far at all. All the so called class the T family thinks she has...wish they could have heard her. And not much remorse for losing Adi's love - it was so much more about her losing to Imlie someone below her standard and being cheated on as opposed to actually finding out that you've lost forever the one you claim to love. But they have heard her be as crass previously. During the whole sindoor drama - random, baharwali, naukrani. She pretty much stood her ground in denigrating Imlie as much as she possibly could get away with without calling her an animal. And she got away with it. Everyone felt bad for Malini. They did feel a slight twinge for Imlie but that was it.

There is going to be no introspection by Aditya. I think we can safely rule that out too.

I think I was OK with how the truth reveal happened. It went as I expected. Adi-Malini's relationship has always been based on pretention & superficiality so I was OK that the end of it has also started still maintaining the pretention & superficiality😆.

I never expected any candid confession from Adi in his convo with Malini because that is not how they function. A layer of pretention is always there in their communication😛. They never actually say what they have in their heart. It's all very upar upar ki baatein between them except for when they are having a real fight. Then they really do not hesitate in telling what they actually feel but as soon as the fight is over, they brush everything under the rug & once again go back to their pretention😆.

In the entire convo, Malini spilled what she really thought about Adi, Imlie & their so called affair in her rant before she came to know the truth about the marriage. Those were her unfiltered thoughts & the cheapness of them was very visible🤢.

Adi also told his unvarnished truth only twice in the entire convo. First when he confessed that he loves Imlie in the start. Second was when Malini was vomiting all her cheap thoughts about Imlie that he could not take & hence he snapped back with what was really in his heart- Malini is not his wife. He later on tried to back track on it by saying that Imlie is his first wife. In his heart he really does not consider Malini as his wife but while communicating the truth to Malini, he did not want to be brutal to her & hence then came the qualification that Imlie is his first wife😆.

I liked that Adi did not go into any details about his relationship with Imlie. He only told Malini the bare minimum facts that she should be privy to so that she knows the truth. His concern was just telling her the truth so that they can move onto the next step i.e. separation. Baaki he doesn't care about what she thinks about it. 😆

I think the thing about Adi telling Malini that he has changed is in a different context. He has not changed as a person or anything. His values & principles all remain the same. But his love for Imlie has definitely changed him just for Imlie. His love for her has revealed another aspect about himself- how he is different with Imlie due to his love for her. She is the exception to him & rest all are the same. The way he behaves with her, he doesn't behave in that way with anyone else. With everyone else he is emotionally detached but with Imlie he wants to be as close to her as possible❤️. Hence he believes that he has changed.

Deep down in their hearts they have always known that their relationship was never about any grand love but just about convenience in their comfort as bf & gf. Hence Malini's constant insecurity & Adi's emotional distance from her. It was only after their marriage was fixed that they tried to change it into some big grand love- Adi due to his own guilt & anger regarding his marriage to Imlie & Malini due to wanting the fairy tale love story for herself. But in actuality their relationship was always based on practicality & convenience.

Imlie did not have much screen space today. Her feeling that Adi was doing pyaar ka naatak with her is obviously contrived but we can blame it on all the emotional turmoil & her abandonment issues that she has been facing alone for quite a while. I don't know why the writers had to add her curiosity about her father's identity into the mix right now but I don't think she will get to know that DC is her father immediately. SK & Meethi will divert her regarding her own relationship with Adi. But it is the next truth that they are now paving the way for.

I was also laughing hearing Adi's thought that now everything will be alright as he has disclosed the truth to Malini😆. But it is not surprising because the only thing that he cares about is Imlie. Now that he has revealed the truth to Malini, he believes he can tell Imlie the same & nullify her objection to stay with him ka basis. Imlie will not have any excuse left for not accepting her rightful place as his wife since now Malini knows the truth.

Yes, he is not taking into context all the complications that are going to be rise vis a vis Malini & the familial objection but that is because he doesn't care about anyone else at all. Only Imlie matters baaki sab kuch bhi soche ya bole, it doesn't matter to him.

I didn't feel any great impact with the shayari because firstly I didn't like the voice over 😔& secondly because the hit miss of Adi-Imlie was so contrived. Imlie uske saamne se jaa rahi thi but bande ko dikhi nahi jab ki he is always able to sense her presence generally. Kuch bhi😆.

Malini is Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I know I ought to feel for her and I do for her situation - but she is just so unbearable the minute she opens her mouth - comes across as so fake and self centred - yet everyone pays homage - what galls me is even Adi. How can Adi not introspect - he token bristles over her bashing of Imli but never does anything substantial. Imagine if this continues for the life of the show. Adi's guilt and lihaas for Malini will oversshadow every good thing between Adi and Imlie. Last time he reacted wass at the Chousse when Malini took Imlie there. What happened to that Adi - lost forever to guilt. I hope not. I watch for that Adi.

So next week is the dhulai and we have 2 days. I want him to focus on why he needs Imlie before he goes to get her. Today's episode - could almost be interpreted as he feeling sorry for her and needing to mete out justice for her. Any love and concern was cloaked to spare MAlini's feelings. The way he said - I can't say it any better than this :( So ok - if this was out of needing to spare Malini. He needs to confront his feelings for Imlie - and have the audience see it or have him communicate clearly to Imlie his feelings...no more 'aap hamare dil me jagah bane hai' stuff.

The depth of his feelings when she went to PG, his restlessness - I want Malini to see all that and see what is missing in their clinical relationship - with all the formal 'aap' this 'aap' that talk.

I see where you are going with that and to an extent I'd say sure but the thing is he hasn't actually changed he just found himself that adi was always inside him he just never tried to explore him or let him get out.. also iss context main ke imlie freed him made him familiar with his own self bhi nahi aaya it needed more to convey that more clarity.. the way it sounded to me was imlie changed him in the sense that he fell out of love for malini which sounds just sooooo wrong on so many fronts and bas Ganda laga.. they should have used better words.. didi ki 2 lines cut kar dene se unki gandagi main kami nahi aa jaati

i didn't like the way he cut short the explanation, at least to malini he should have elaborate how exactly he fall for imlie 🤔 he was supposed to say 'hum 7 salon se apke sath ek friendship ke rishte pe bandhe the aur usi ko pyar samajh baithe, hume toh pata hi nehi tha ki pyar kya hota jabtak imlie meri life mein patni banke nehi ayi tabtak, ha hum badal gaye hai kyunki pyar mein parne wala har ek insan badal jata hai aur mere sath bhi yehi hua, is badlav ko rokna ya control karna mere had se bahar tha.....' something more like this if i am not wrong, but nothing like that happened we got 10 min of dd ka venom but not even 2 min ka clear explanation from aditya, completely not fair! 👎🏼 i wonder why they did that!!!!????? 😳
