I don't know off screen equation, but on screen the actress is doing horrible job. Her scenes are lengthy even though she can't emote one thing. Also, showing a Bhabhi openly "parvaing" for Devar and the matriarch of the family and her so called devars support her, is beyond disgusting.

I just don't understand how the family doesn't find it a bit strange that a Bhabhi is asking more right on devar than the wife has. And the makers are making it more cringe worthy now!!

There is something about prejudice & hatred that overpowers love. That is why u find so many loving mothers in India try their best to wreck their son’s marriage out of hatred for the bahu, even though reason will tell them that it hurts their son too.

Frankly, even if my neighbors saw me a little sick, they would be lot more empathizing and caring. Who behaves like this with someone they call "chahita"? Only in Ghum this happens. In Ghum world, husband-wife relation is kalank and Bhabhi-Devar adventures are sanskari, so what can we expect?

Very well said!! I agree that mothers do wreck their son's marriage our of hatred for the bahu, but the same mothers would go head over hill for their sons. They would damage that part of son's life, but would be caring toward the son if he just escaped death. But here I am shocked. But the same people drugged the daughter of the family for 8 years, made her mentally challenged, took her infant and dropped her at an orphanage, I mean this is another kind of criminal family. Jagatap and Vitthal need lessons from them.

Virat and Sai should live away from the family with Ashwini Aai...doesn't he get a house if he is an IPS officer?
