How should have Malini reacted?

This is my first post on this forum, I have been a silent reader till now. So I have just one question: how should Malini have reacted after knowing the truth? Infact how should any woman react after knowing that your husband is in love with another girl who you happen to know?

No point in holding onto someone who does not have mutual feelings for you & living in a loveless relationship

Well if I were her, I would be hurt, thappad bhi maar deti shayad but would have talked first.

Get angry, cry if you need to, introspect on when and where things went wrong, why even burn his clothes if you need to rage, walk out (which was one decision I respected of her), get divorce, move on and laugh in his face.

But to kill yourself over one man when you have ur family, career etc, that's too extreme and selfish for me and then to move back in with him after attempted suicide, it looks, feels and tastes like a calculated manipulation.

Yes eventually one must do this but I feel the initial reaction would be of anger, hurt, feeling of betrayal

Yes but her suicide attempt was before she got to know the truth. What I'm trying to understand is why her reaction in today's episode was considered wrong and cheap by some

Oh todays one

Simple, she claims to have loved and known this person for years even if he only feels friendship for her.

The question becomes, why is 'multiple affairs' the first thing she jumps to, and that too when she likes to call Imlie her behen (well she wavers between that and naukrani on a minute to minute basis).

Also why has she not added the clues together and come to the conclusion that Adi PD related 'joke' (another knock against her character that she thinks Adi makes such insensitive jokes) was maybe not a joke.

I get it, she's in shock and all but it truly shows that she never thought highly of her best friend and sister or even understood them. That all her behen jaap for Imlie was just dikhawa.

The biggest problem is she's a shoddily written character with potential.

Yes hee multiple affairs was below the belt considering they had a 7 year long history between them but I think threatening to take him to court/jail was not wrong as acc to her she is the legal wife and Adi loving Imlie would be an EMA

ehh, there's nothing wrong w/ that, I haven't seen anyone saying that part was cheap or wrong.

I have seen people laugh at that reaction simply because us viewers know that it's their marriage that's void and unlawful and to be honest, because of her past behavior (inc. attempted suicide, using her weakness as a form of manipulation, refusing to eat blah blah), she's become unsympathetic to us so we find it funny because we can't find it in ourselves to root for her.

Adi does deserve that stuff, he had no right to ruin/mess up her life because he himself was confused.
