Heya folks! Today had some decent PurVir scenes today. Isiliye review thoda lamba ho gaya
The first scene was nice, PurVir were sitting & waiting for the next bus to come. I loved the way Purvi had held on to Vir, and how he was rubbing her hand with his...both trying to seek/give comfort in the little time they got with each other❤️
I am so happy that they are showing Purvi as human - she is also in a dilemma. She understands the impossible situation the three of them are in, she does not want to add to Vir's troubles but at the same time she feels insecure every time she sees Sakshi with Vir. She is very empathetic to Sakshi's plight but at the same time is not willing to let go of her own love. And I am so glad to see Purvi verbalise her fears...our FLs always suffer in silence unnecessarily!
And Vir - bechara he is torn between love and responsibility🥺 Though he does not love Sakshi any more, his values will never let him wash his hands off her responsibility. Like Sri said in her post...both of them needed to have this conversation. I hope they continue to show PurVir talking to each other and being open with each other.
And the best part is that Vir really wants to tell the truth to Sakshi...his conflict arises bcoz Sakshi is unwell, not bcoz he is not confused or in 2 minds about both of them. I loved the way he drags Purvi to the room - hellbent on revealing the truth to Sakshi. Par itni aasaani se sach bahar aa jata toh kya baat thi😆
In the room Didiji is behosh on the bed with Prakashi & Anjali also present. Yeh baat toh mujhe samajh hi nahi aayi - how in the world did they show Sakshi calling Prakashi instead of Vir? It is so illogically that she will reach out to her captor of 5 years for help, instead of her husband! Stockholm Syndrome ho gaya hai shayad Didiji ko😵
Aur yeh doctor kya Prakashi ke payroll par hai? Tanaav mat do ki ratt laga rakhi hai...tanaav sirf sach sunne mein hota hai...seduce karne mein aur vrat rakhne mein nahi!
And then Prakashi takes Vir on a guilt trip by practically holding him responsible for Sakshi fainting! Thankfully Vir at least shut Anjali up when she tried to tell him that he should forget everything & focus on Sakshi😆
Back at the farmhouse, Prakashi n Anjali ka natak phir shuru hota hai...lagta hai yeh dono Vir ki izzat lutwa kar hi dum lenge🤔
Anjali suggests that Sakshi should keep Karwachauth Vrat (in May!!!!!) and of course Didiji jumps at the opportunity even though Vir dissuades her! Purvi runs out of the room crying bcoz she will not be able to celebrate her first Karwachauth. The kids try to cheer her up, and when they ask how will Vir break her fast, she tells them it doesn't matter she will sleep without eating. Just then Vir comes there and says ki Babbar Sher ke rehte Haathi kabhi bhuka na soyega! Cute haiu scene...esp the last part where both kids are whispering something in Vir's ears & he smiles😳
Next day, Purvi wakes up early to have sargi, but runs into Sakshi who asks why she is awake so early for a vrat which is meant for married women. Purvi gives an excuse but Sakshi suddenly remembers that on Holi, Purvi was wearing the same magalsutra which she later found in Vir's room. Purvi panics for a moment but then says that with clothes, Anjali gave her the mangalsutra also so she wore it...and that day since Sakshi was so happy applying red colour to her, so she did not object!
What a rubbish excuse and Sakshi believes it also! Aankhen hai ya button...Purvi has red bangles in her hands, sindoor in her maang but still Sakshi believed that she is unmarried😕
Purvi gets the sargi ready for Sakshi and decides that she will only have water herself. Just then Vir comes from behind and hugs her. He tells her that he will fast for her long life. Purvi asks him to keep the fast for Sakshi as her vrat may not even be complete. BUt Vir assures her that her vrat will be complete and they will celebrate her first karwachauth with fond memories. He assures her that she will have sargi also and break her fast with him. He makes her sit and starts feeding her, Purvi also feeds him. Purvi is in tears seeing his love & concern. Vir gently wipes her tears and hugs her. Sakshi comes there for the sargi and asks if Purvi has seen Vir; Vir is hiding behind a curtain!
This is such a sweet scene...the back hug, the way both feed each other...the tenderness with Vir handles her made my heart melt❤️ He holds her so softly as if she is a delicate flower❤️ And the way he cups her face & wipes her tears...these 2 do not require any words to convey their emotions❤️
Overall decent episode. As I see it, there are only 3 possibilities with this track - either Sakshi turns/always was evil, she is an imposter, or she remains positive & decides to move out of PurVir's life. I sincerely hope it is the 3rd option - there is more than enough negativity in the show!
Also, I feel Sakshi's character is very badly etched - there is a lot of scope to build her but it seems that the makers have not yet decided how to play out this track and hence they are keeping their options open with her characterization. But that is taking away from the storyline - asli maza toh tab aata if the viewers had felt as conflicted as Vir in whom should they support!
