I agree with you. Did I hear something wrong or did Shiva say this to Dev- “Wo do gadhediyo se jyada mai tujse pyaar karta hu” . That dialogue was absolutely not needed. Yea they did make the two newly married women the root cause of all the problems! Dhara is a saint so she cannot be blamed toh bache kaun Raavi Rishita.
Yes the apology was needed, I think partly we are disappointed because the apology seemed a bit too short or maybe its because of Dev’s acting that it wasnt as impactful as it should have been. Dev really needs to improvise a lot and bring his A game if he really wants to ace a scene especially if it has Kanwar in it!
Exactly! And, the brother’s bond over the misery of Dev becoming the ‘Kutta’ coz of love. I am like Dude, you neither had the nerve to stand up for the girl you're loved nor dared to stand together after your promise. The entire Mandap fiasco made you foolish enough that now he plays the victim card.
So, the entire family is great, and the women caused their misery. Gumbi is lucky because Dhara was pretty much doormattish when it came to her MIL. ITV doesn't disappoint me with the cliches.
I swear, I’d lose my calm if they start humour in Krish for a feminine identity or gay.
In high time, we stop finding such things humourous and undermine the people from the LGBTQ community. I wish they DON'T take this route. As it is, the ‘male psyche’ level apology seemed to make me go ‘ Duh’

Exactly and the way Gaumbi said- bilkul waise hi jaise main tere haath aur sar merge karne wala hu🤣
Thanks for update Mel
The Gaumbi and Krish scene was hilarious! Same with Maami-Anita-Suman 😆

That is so kind! Thank you! Some of those hugs between shiva and dev were pretty amazing. I feel like that moment where Raavi rings the mandir bell was very symbolic and could be cute too!
Finally got a chance to see the episode. Loved it. Dev apologized. And Shiva said it in no terms that Raavi was the one who truly suffered. Hope Dev can apologize to Raavi as well.
Liked Dhara and Raavi scene. Raavi knows some aspects, but she's got every right to feel the way she does. Her helplessness at the situation and being married in the same household as DevTa was very evident and my heart went out to her. And she admitted that it's better to be attached to Shiva with hatred than khokla marriage with Dev.
I wonder if Shiva will find out about Rishita's antics. And will this conversation with Dhara help Raavi give chance to her married life?!
The precap indicates that Raavi will be in on ShiSh's fun. Great episode.

Probably, I am the only one who didn't like Dev-Shiva talks in the episode at all. The apology was superficial, starts with Shiva recognising how sad Dev is trying to figure out pieces of the puzzle.
I am sorry, but I wanted Dev to own up his mistake properly and in-depth. His apology was very victim-based. He clung to Shiva, crying like a child. It was emotional, but Akshay was terrible in the whole scene. I wouldn't say I liked how the two women were made outsiders and the root cause of the problem in The entire conversation. And later called Dev himself a dog because he got married. No side, this wasn't the apology I was expecting.
I swear I still feel like beating Dev! It was very male-oriented without an iota of consideration for the women.
Shiva stood up for Raavi and her pain, but Dev wasn't the one to feel deeply. Maybe it's the acting 🎭. It was too soon and too comical.
Only Shiva being Shiva has some hilarious dialogues 😆
He did acknowledge his anger but honestly, he seems like the older brother all the time.
You echo my thoughts! I'm not happy with the apology and yes, it's becoming increasingly clear that Akshay has a LOT to work on in terms of acting. The whole thing has been dragged out too long for a 5 min apology to suffice. I wouldn't mind it being emotional and centered around Dev had it been just the opening for Dev apologising.
That said, I'm glad the makers have atleast finally addressed this apology in a half-decent manner. They covered the gist of it and that's more than you can expect from ITV.
