See that's the thing tho. Somehow ITV has managed to romanticise toxic behaviour in relationships. Think about it. Some many of the shows we all grew up watching and loving did this. So for the longest time I thought pulling and being a little forceful was all romantic because TV normalised it for me. Especially in my teens.

Now, it's a different story.

And dont get me talking about the sort of emotional abuse these itv heroines tolerate. And begging and fighting for/over a man 😖😖

Ah ! True.. I barely started watching ITV shows now in my mid 30s and already see so much of the these toxic ML vibes in every show. How unfortunate it is that this is what young desi girls grew up watching! 😔 There are wonderful men out there that the show makers can make examples of.

SAAKK thankfully attempts a realistic portrayal of Shaurya, his struggle to come to terms with his misogyny and change for the better.
