I guess it's because Shivangi might not have been available so they wanted to close of the D-fam track for now. Shukar hai we won't see them for a bit!

But I think it is more because of shivi's unavailability.

There might have been a scene planned after all both were twinning in red.

Could Raghav's reaction to the widow truth be anymore childish? So the only thing that seemed to somewhat impress him was that she did all the "mehnat" for her sasural wale. That's it! No reflection on his own actions and the consequences... There's a difference in being self-obsessed/egoistic and being childish. Sadly his entire monologue was so childish that it took away from all the high intense drama we saw in the previous episode. And why did they have to waste so much time on the bathroom scene? They could have shown Raghav's reaction on seeing Pallavi for the first time dressed up in that red saree..
