Domestic Violence and Glorification

Hi everyone! I know someone here already mentioned how this show seems to glorify domestic violence and yesterdays episode itself was it for me. Absolutely disgusting behavior by Darsh. At this point I hope Nandini leaves him and gets a divorce. That guy deserves no happiness with the way he has treated Nandini. Like I understand that you are upset and their is some misunderstanding but making your wife eat scorching hot soup and then asking her to eat noodles (or some **shite**) that is also incredibly spicy is sadistic behavior. The damage her innards would be in if this was IRL is horrendous. From emotional abuse to physical abuse- really reminds me of "Dil Se Di Dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava?".

Anyways hope he gets what he deserves and as repeated before, Nandini leaves him. No amount of redemption track is worth this abuse. I mean how is Nandini supposed to still have any ounce of love for this dude is beyond me. But I guess I'll never understand serials and how they always glorify manhandling FL's and DV.

Is this goes by original, they will patch up and she is even pregnant while being kicked away by her mil

Iska matlab koi fyda nahi apni 2 minutes barbad karne ka. I do enjoy some of the comments in this thread tho so I won't mind stoping here every once in a while! I was reading one thread where some people were saying that the only thing left is for Nandini to be a vamp and the MIL. But you seem to be alluding to the fact that the MIL becomes vamp too. Bas poore hai. rip!

Ya from what I read in wiki for samjher, MIL seems to kick FL out after ML have some accident and she thinks FL is responsible for the accident

FL acts as if she’s dead ( don’t ask logic and the doctors seems to be quacks) and donates eyes to ML

So part 2 will be normal ML and blind FL and she leaves somewhere

Well, if they follow the original then there are quite a number of MUs that will pile up one after another. This is just the beginning...

They are already showing a hell lot of crap right now which is why almost all of us have stopped watching. We all come here just to have a chat with each other...

Don't know what more will they show in the future... not that I actually care about it.

Well, the Wikipedia synopsis mentions that she regains her eyesight after sometime.

And as per the synopsis, the show is into a thriller zone too now as the ML has a dual identity now: he is now a secret agent alongside being a photographer. Show has taken an 18 year leap, leads separated, FL having a memory loss and they having a visually impaired daughter who lives with her mother. (And they have a "fake" daughter of the leads at home)

I can understand. This was my reaction too when I read the synopsis.

Original ke according to the ML even doubted on FL's pregnancy because the vamp made the doctor give him a fake report that he's impotent.

Plus I don't know if Wikipedia has it accurate or not but it says that the FL regains her eyesight after some brain surgery... and I'm confused about this.

I myself have given up on the show since the day I read the entire Wikipedia synopsis.

If she had some accident and lost eye sight due to damage in brain nerves, then after surgery if she gains sight, then it’s acceptable

How can she regain sight after surgery

Does her brain have super powers to generate donated items

That is why I said I don't know whether Wikipedia is accurate at this point or not because its plain ridiculous that post donating her eyes she regains her eyesight after some brain surgery.

So, either the person who edited it gave only half of the entire thing or that person made some mistake because there is no way that a person who has donated his/her eyes (or any body part for that matter) can regenerate them.
