Thanks to Covid, pretty much every actor’s career is somewhat finished. It’s the new crop of actors after the whole thing is done, that will take the mantel forward.

I highly doubt it. The films being shot and scheduled with the biggest budgets and most buzz are of the current crop. Those are the faces that will get people back to the theaters. Even the youngest of that crop are mid 30s and up except Kartik who's 30+. Heck the Covid break out OTT star - Pratik Gandhi is 40.

The newer actresses worth anything are also in their late 20s and early 30s and have already made a lot of films. The new early 20s set are pretty terrible so far and none have shown they have any B.O. pull to match their Instagram numbers.

I'm glad he's getting more work but he got really lucky with Scam. It was the perfect show with the perfect writing and an amazing character. Something like that comes once in a lifetime.

He's also going to get stuck with mediocre scripts now just like everyone does. His next movie is with Tapsee and no way is his character going to be more important than hers.

It's very very easy to fizzle out.
